They talk of many micrograins and nanograins of PT, Pd.......I wonder how fine will we be crushing the 'soft rock' feeder source before washing ? ......don't want to miss too much !

Ex

I have no problem with this years target, it could be that you cannot rely on the nugget affect that we hit last year. They are mining a different area, who knows till the end of season. It may be a blessing as you say the PT price looks set to rise into next year when we could have two or three wash plants.
As long as the lights stay on and the wages are paid, most are here for MT.

WK STP and other projects can wait.

CC - CS has never sounded positive about anything. Be prepared for a surprise regarding WK!

"Satisfactory" doesn't really reveal much. It depends on expectation, and his target was just 100kg for this year.

I suggest again that since the market has gone bonkers for gold STP is now focus for spare cash, and WK will have to wait til 2020 and higher pt prices.

Dirty bedtime reading...
'The studies of Paleoproterozoic layered massifs in
the northeastern Baltic Shield made it possible to
define the Kola platinumbearing province [1]. The
Monchetundra Massif is one of the objects promising
with regard to economic Pt and Pd concentrations, in
addition to the Fedorov–Pana intrusive complex,
Monchegorsk Pluton, and Mount General’skaya
Massif, which contain economic deposits of these ele
ments [2]. The Monchetundra Massif belongs to a
group of bodies constituting the large Chuna–
Monche–Volch’i–Losevye tundra intrusion of the
Glavnyi (Main) Range. Its structural–tectonic posi
tion is determined by the confinement to the junction
zone of the Belomorsk and Central Kola Archean
domains with the Early Proterozoic Pechenga–Iman
dra–Varzuga paleoriftogenic structure. The massif
extending in the northwesterly direction is approxi
mately 30 km long and 2–6 km wide. The Monche
tundra Massif is separated from the Monchegorsk Plu
ton by a wide zone of blastocataclasites and blastom
ilonites in the east and southeast and is bordered by the
Viteguba–Seidozero Fault in the west. Recent explo
ration and research works in the region under consid
eration are confined to the Monchetundra Massif and
Monchegorsk Pluton areas.

Happy dreams !

snowy - I wouldn't be surprised if there were diamonds there as well. But let's concentrate on the Palladium and other precious metals first.

That leaves $40m clear a $10m pa divvy wouldn't be out of the question. .0031p on 2750m shares

Any thoughts (am I close )

Yes, your maths sucks.

$10m/2750m is about 0.36c per share. Exchange rate about $1.20/£1 so that's 0.3p/share.

....'EUA will be looking at more projects in the area'

Yes....Monchetundra is at the junction of three massifs......there would have been phenominal and unique geological and igneous processes at work in the immediate area
immense pressures and temperatures......we already know it is very rich in all sorts of intrusive and layered morphic complexes formed from masses of rock that originated as metal-rich magma...could turn absolutely anything up on exploratory drilling.

Drool drool !!!!

That's a good interview, more snippets of news in there, they EUA will be looking at more projects in the area (would imagine when or after the money is rolling in) or may be after the sale of MT possibly)

Penn - snowy just answered your question. You should try to listen to the Proactive interview to get a feel of it. I think they are now working hard on MT and making good progress. All we can do is just wait for what is inevitably to come. But it sounds like it will be a very worthwhile wait. As for WK I think we will be surprised at the number of washplants EUA can deploy next season but it may be too late for the current one.

'CC - how do you know that there's nothing out of the ordinary happening at WK?'

I don't think CS was very enthusiastic in his answer to WK production.......he might just be playing it down a bit so when released it will have max effect....or it could be that results not quite as good as expected.

Personally I think they would be much better off reinvesting the 10 million per annum back into the business instead of a divvy that won't make any difference to anyones income.
