Just a thought; In the negotiations with the perspective future buyer, could have been strict conditions. The first one being that the extra minerals from the additional development land although farmed in with the Russian Government was paramount especially from the increase in global demand. The second one being that the new owners having paid so much for the assets would want to liquidate the shares to help fund the mining. This would make sense to me and from this you would conclude that there is no point in raising cash until the company is in new hands. With no formal deal in place this would not stop the BOD doing any of the above as this merely puts them in an ever stronger position.Just a silly thought backed by no facts other than the RNSs.

No he wasn't. He sold for a reason. He still holds a very large position. Many a person with a decent position will sell, most especially to recover their initial investment and take some profit too. I do not regard them as weak holders but as savvy investors. In my book, weak holders are normally scared of their own shadow, have little understanding of how the market works, have done no research, have bought in with the herd and bale out with losses.

DrDS. My post had nothing to do with yours . However I take issue with your reference to ' Weak holders' . A phrase used on all bbs which is a slant on all people who sell. Was that Russian adviser a weak holder lol

A week since the EGM vote was passed, I wonder if we'll get news of a potential rights issue soon?

If they do decide to ask LTH's to participate in a discounted fund raise, perhaps with warrants too, we will get time to organise the funds, and in my case it isn't any problem at all, but what about Anders and fillup or even Dmitry?

Normally a rights issue won't be more than say 25% or 30% of the share capital, but worth keeping in mind that to take advantage you will need to get the cash!
