This is what the banks are working for :-At the end of October, the company said investment banks CITIC and VTB Capital have started assisting the company with strategic options for its mining assets. The banks have agreed to work on a success-fee basis, the miner said

Look, we haven't signed anything with the banks because Eurasia won't be paying their bill. Simple.

There are three possibilities

1. Outright buyout, buyer pays fees
2. Joint venture, investor pays fees
3. No deal agreed, no fees to pay.

Why do you chaps pull yourselves to pieces over nothing?

There has been approaches, DS is open to considering appropriate offers, we are in no rush, we are in a position of strength.

Don't worry, be patient.

I haven't sold but I wonder what the company have been doing for the last 5 weeks. The fact they haven't signed with the banks doesn't inspire confidence. I hope they are still working to progress Monchetundra via the Sinosteel route, and completing everything necessary to enable a draw down, if they choose to do so.

fair enough . there is then no rush or competition then on behalf of the investment banks to cut a deal ..

What do you expect them to sign. They will go out and find a buyer. They will come back with a price and then EUA and the banks can discuss their cut. I don't find anything complicated with this. They approached the company so why would the company be in a rush to sign anything. More likely, they will be saying.. show us what you have then we can discuss a cut. Nothing complicated.
