27/9/2019 14:37 | i agree with the guru. i think we are a bit behind schedule, a few months perhaps, but i think since the original ECP deal was supposed to be triggered within 3 years and that ends next month, we must surely get some clarity from CS on the current situation, and maybe even soem cash from sinosteel. it does seem to me that all this extra work being done is very likely part of a due diligence program, so there will likely be at least a merger if not some kind of total takeover, but as the village idiot suggests a share swap is often how these things unfold, largely because they don't actually like spending real cash and prefer to swap one IOU for another as they shuffle paper and push the pen...damn those bean counters! | excellance
27/9/2019 14:18 | no dividends until 2023, they will want to clear the debt beforehand and strength the balance sheet. Agree with general optimism for 2020. | russiaguru
27/9/2019 14:15 | snowman100 We don't yet know when they will start producing at Monchetundra. It seems unlikely to be Q3 2020, and when they do start there will be a ramp up period. They will also have the loan repayment to consider. Based on past performance, "dividends could start getting paid before 2021 year end," seems a bit optimistic. I think I would prefer a straight takeover by a major, before 2021 year end, rather than dividends. | mostyn
27/9/2019 14:12 | It could happen any moment | pennstreet

27/9/2019 12:01 | I said all along that MT was the elephant in the room and could be massive, and now the company are stating this openly saying "severalfold" so could be 8m or 10m Oz mine, with the open pits giving us the financial key to unlock the rest. I also said that WK could be a regional phenomenon, and although a side show to MT it could extend significantly, and it appears that it does, with the company applying for licenses all around confirming this theory, tho the source rock is so far illusive. These are tough coconuts to crack, but we are learning, and progressing, yet we find ourselves questioning if we have enough financial "escape velocity" to self fund, and if Sinosteel or another will finally show us their cash for MT. 2020 it is then, for better visibility. | excellance
27/9/2019 12:00 | With all guns blazing I would have thought 100kg is achievable | pennstreet

27/9/2019 11:50 | I won't make any predictions for wk production this year, it's pure guesswork. I will be amazed if nothing comes from STP. | excellance
27/9/2019 11:16 | Penn - what's your estimate of total WK production for 2019? I think it will be close to the 100Kg target. | charles clore
27/9/2019 10:55 | Happy Friday !We still have about 6 weeks of production at WK, and 100% goes to the bottom line ;0) | pennstreet

27/9/2019 03:52 | From rns regarding WK The program is to focus on the relatively higher grade Bolshaya Sosnovka area for the remainder of 2019, with 400m of regular diameter core drilling and 180m of verification drilling scheduled to be finished at Bolshaya Sosnovka by year end. To me the key word is “ verification “. Is this the first time they have used this word ? It seems the deposits are so randomly distributed that they need additional cores (reducing the centres of the cores) to avoid a false positive result. During this season, have we been working in a false positive identified area? This may have been another expensive lesson learnt. Do They need to ignore the larger nuggets from the cores sample (no constantly distributed) and count only in the smaller nuggets (more constantly distribute) to determine the minimum guaranteed grade in a zone? I believe so. All good, things like this happen in new adventures , lesson learnt and move on ASAP. The earlier we learnt our lessons the better and this can be translated to Brexit, environmental issues and so on. Patience, I am 100% convinced that particularly 2020 will be excellent at WK bcs we will mine on the richest Identified gravels (area with guaranteed higher concentration of smaller nuggets) | book5
27/9/2019 00:21 | Bring it on. Inflection points Triggering of finance package at Monchetundra Exploration starts at flanks area of Monchetundra Partner found for the project Benefits of moves to 100% operatorship of West Kytlim start to show through | driver101
26/9/2019 19:19 | (Re three posts ago...25555 ) To get things into perspective........a cubic meter of typical gravel weighs 1,680 kilograms 1.68 tonnes. so that grade of 8.4 g/t (Pt+Pd) is equal to 15.2 g per cubic metre !!!!! That is freakish........I know only relatively small pockets like that will be found, but that means a 10 ton truck can potentially carry over 1.5 Kg of Pd/Pt to the processors when we hit a bonanza like that.......not beyond the realms of possibility that we could have 40 truckloads of that in a day......we would recover more than the 55Kgs salvaged so far this season IN ONE DAY !!!!! OK...I realise that is a dream scenario, but it is in within the realms of possibility for a short period. I'm going to dream of platinum and palladium nuggets tonight !! | snowman100
