Inflation has generally been good for shares so no worries on that score.

I too have taken money out of the general market. I've left only what I can see having value if inflation has a lasting effect. I'll hold adding more to see how far this will or won't fall. But more to thebpoint I sincerely hope the trouble eases and an end to the loss of life. All the best to everyone

Yes, I'm inclined to agree. Will buy a few more if we revisit sub 40p on no company-specific news, I think.

know what you mean donaferentes. It is OK for us PI's who bought in at 30p but for more recent investors the seas are turbulent. This is getting worryingly like EUA where all the PI's think they are pirates on a galleon.

Bit of carnage out there in the markets. Seems like everybody had forgot about inflation. I remember it. Once it arrives it is damned difficult to shift especially when governments can digitally print money.

Across the board this week you need to keep looking at the horizon to avoid becoming seasick looking at the local chop.

donaferentes....either sit on hands or add. I am the later. This bad news last for days. It does not affect the good news coming in future months.

Seasoned investors LOVE THE DIPS!!!!!

Marked down by MMs as a protection, but virtually zero trades either way. Hopefully all holders are seasoned enough to sit on their hands until normal business returns.

Still shocked about the scenes in Israel. Makes the ups and downs of shares look a little irrelevant.

However, I took advantage of the drop yesterday to add 8,966 at 44.5p.
Interesting that the last dip enabled me to add at 45.7p of 4/5/21
Before that I was adding at 43.7p on 21/4/21

Shows how far we had gone and how quickly we will be back at 55p IMO. Sell on news. That is what was done.

Time for ENET to deliver an excellent RNS. Traceylied has been working overtime on LSE. Good Tarana link:

The warrants are small fry.
5g have to keep an orderly market so cant collapse the price.

This is weak holders or short term traders selling on bad news - they knew buyers would back off a bit.

IMO you got lucky.

The thing is PJ the warrants were built into the current price as the MM's knew they'd be coming. And in your own words..betting.... hardly a way to a successful end game. This time you got lucky and I suspect a lot more to do with the sad events out there than your prowess as a gambler. Good luck in your future endeavours but tbh not where they cross into my interests..

All you’ve done is say timber every bloody day since whenever . You must have made enough to pay your mum room rent for the week. I hope you go away now

not lucky... i really don't believe the sell-off is linked to the flare up in trouble.. my short term short was based on the likely de-risking of the warrant holders... flooding the market as they sell off their the 30p stock.. also i was betting that 5G is reducing a bit.. the rockets have no bearing on the investment case of ENET imo..

PJ - you got lucky - no Israeli unrest and a good rns and your short would be in trouble.

Yes, terrible news in Israel/Gaza. I'm so sorry for the innocent victims on either side. Contentious, hard baked issues, I realise, but to hurl missiles or air strikes at crowded areas with civilians seems pretty criminal to me.

I hope they can get this sorted asap before those who simply want bloodshed can get their fill.

In the meantime, quite right Collywobbler, never mind ENET. It will do what it will do and we will escape with our lives, with or without our investment money.

LOL!

You gotta cut the kid some slack - when you eat up stop loss after stop loss you might get excited over a 23% win!

Hmmm, put me down as sceptical, don't you love those winning trades after the event! Funny, no one posts losing trades after the event.I know the lottery numbers.....to last weeks draw.

Correct for you for your short timeframe, very incorrect for long termers.

You dont seem to understand that point.

Good luck with your strategy.

Despite the rudeness I endured my timmmmmbbbbbeerrr has been the correct investment strategy on this one!!!

In the interests of disclosure I have closed a proportion of the short at 44p... a nice 23% in a couple of weeks yum yum

Super good buying opportunity. Probably lots of exercises warrants being sold (one off) to cover exercise cost and taxes. And then there's the amateurs scared of conflict in Israel. But these Hamas rockets get shot every few years, and nothing comes of it. Just a political skirmish. If you access any public webcam in Israel now, loads of crowds on the streets, shops still open, people going to work. A few rockets is nothing.
