07/12/2021 20:04 | Value at around 1.5p, way overvalued at this price | oapknob1
07/12/2021 18:10 | Have to agree David..the charts look terrible here.Buy back 1-2p | oapknob1

07/12/2021 17:44 | David so am I. Glavey was de-ramping SHOE at 60p. Its now almost double ! | tomtum1
07/12/2021 07:52 | A quick review of Glavey's posting history reveals all. I am happy to accumulate at these ridiculously low levels. | david gruen
07/12/2021 07:49 | LOL. Better by who’s standards? I would not be surprised to hear your laying on a 20+ year old pocket sprung mattress that you have not turned for years because it’s to heavy, and that you have moulded a hole into. As you know the price of materials, I can only guess that you are either associated with another mattress brand or a supplier of traditional fillings, like flock and cotton, or on the other hand have an interest in sheep, as you would like to see more wool used rather than other traditional fillings. I can understand your anguish at seeing wool being destroyed because other products have replaced traditional materials. By the way what keeps you on an EVE thread? It’s good to have your input though, so please keep posting. | clocktower
07/12/2021 06:50 | Because I understand material costs and don't accredit much value to BS. I prefer something more traditional and rather better. However, I do agree that a cardboard box can be useful, in case one has goods to return for example. Otherwise it's a bit flimsy and not of particularly reuseable size and construction, even if it arrives without transit damage. | glavey
06/12/2021 14:43 | Glavey, if you do not sleep on an EVE mattress how can you say they are overpriced, as a sound nights sleep benefits not only your bodies health but your mental health as well. While you may buy inferior blocks of foam that you can lay upon, they will not necessarily provide you with what any clued up owner and investor in EVE does. Sleep Oh sleep the poor mans relief - the rich mans desire. However, it all depends on what you can afford, and hopefully those that have the funds to buy shares in EVE will be able to afford a lot more than a cardboard box, which I expect you find useful, as they to have many uses. | clocktower
06/12/2021 06:27 | Well, they are a bit overpriced for a lump of foam in a sack. Oh, I forgot, and a cardboard box. | glavey
05/12/2021 10:13 | If only he could afford one ?? | valuetracker
05/12/2021 09:50 | T101, if you sides are hurting I guess you need a new EVE mattress. :-) Have a good day chum. | clocktower
05/12/2021 05:59 | If said death is within the 100 days they'll just send it back to be resold to some unsuspecting buyer on ebay. Regardless, what's to say they buy eve again, more likely they will choose from the oodles of competitor product. | glavey
04/12/2021 11:03 | So your entire theory of this overvalued fluff is based on people changing their mattress after a covid death. I've heard some whoppers in my time, but that;s hilarious. Thanks for brightening my day, my sides are hurting :-) | terminator101
03/12/2021 15:16 | T101 - Think about this: The larger number of deaths there are Covid related or otherwise, it is a fact that people change a lot of mattresses if someone has died that has slept on the mattress in question, regardless of its age. More often than not they just want it dumped, and then replace the mattress. So it follows that there must have been a big uplift in sales of mattresses due to the higher death rate over the past couple of years, in the UK, Ireland and France. Which company has benefited is another matter, that you can argue about. However if you follow closely, you will have noticed EVE has sold out of there premium ones recently, along with a few other items. I also believe they are priced more competitively than the likes of Simba who one day may still seek to merge or bid for EVE, or as previously discussed an RTO of sorts. | clocktower
02/12/2021 19:53 | Seems the market has made its mind up. The overpaid directors, with little skin in the game (and millions of almost zero cost "options" are not skin in the game) manage to turn a loss on £29m revenue. Add to that the headwinds of supply chain and low customer spending are against them. Never mind that their products are overpriced compared to their competitors. | terminator101
02/12/2021 15:07 | With a market cap of around £7.5m and around £5m in cash - where can you pick up a leading online sleep wellness brand for circa £2.5m other than EVE ? I would not be surprised to see another approach for the business before very long if the share price remains this low. DYOR. | clocktower
01/12/2021 16:57 | T101 - they must all just be sleeping soundly on EVE mattresses, not that they only rely on the mattresses alone, unlike other well know brands. Maybe you could select a few gifts for your friends from the range below, and you may even fancy a few items for yourself to help you sleep with a clear conscience. Note they have sold out of a number of lines. | clocktower
01/12/2021 09:14 | Seems that the market is not convinced that the recovery at eve is underway | terminator101
30/11/2021 13:39 | Another bad day at the office, since the new covid strain came to light, this has really taken a beating, even though volume has been light. | clocktower |
