16/11/2021 07:09 | Hi all, I noticed this on stockopedia and wondered if you could help?Revenue has been between 24m and 35m for the last few years but there is a forecast jump to 84m revenue and 6m net profit for 2022. Howcome the jump? How will they scale up? Why is the bankruptcy risk (stockopedia medtric) as high as it can get with so little debt? Thanks in advance! | jonshevlin
15/11/2021 20:22 | We have a simba hybrid pro luxe which is good for heat control and works for us, but is less firm than a standard pocket sprung mattress. But excellent point about cost of production and triumph of marketing. Makes you wonder what all those admin expenses go on huh | terminator101
15/11/2021 20:09 | I had a Simba for a few nights. Both of us had awful backache and terrible sleep so sent it back. Same with Eve. They're all a triumph of marketing and surely are ridiculously cheap to produce compared to a pocket sprung one? | ![]() spawny100
15/11/2021 20:06 | I'll be sleeping on my simba matress, very soundly in the knowledge that ive got a which best best buy for a very competitive price. | terminator101
15/11/2021 17:11 | You may get lucky T101 and be able to buy at 3p tomorrow but I doubt it, once you have had a good nights sleep and cleared you head of negativity, you might think its wise to top up early at 3.1p which is what just two MM were on offer at when the market closed, as you missed your chance today. Have a good night and maybe a wee dram to help you clear your woolly head. :-) | ![]() clocktower
15/11/2021 14:22 | Only one MM left offering stock at 3p and I have not been able to buy at under that level all day. | ![]() clocktower
15/11/2021 14:00 | DC- It's fair banter and every investor should consider T101's views before they purchase, while some of what he says is very misleading, if you read the facts presented by the company, then you understand why you should be buying and not selling imo. Still, the MM are now allowing much bigger buys on-line, as they must want to clear stock, having picked up a considerable amount today. | ![]() clocktower
15/11/2021 13:44 | You really do apply a warped perspective Terminator. What's your motivation? To scare private investors into selling? | ![]() david gruen
15/11/2021 13:43 | LOL - T101 - That is something else you could be correct about - maybe raising funds at 10p to fund growth in Europe. I bet that would be oversubscribed as well at that level in the next 6 months or so. | ![]() clocktower
15/11/2021 13:37 | Usual rampers tactic is the refer to a previously successful growing business as "evidence" that its all fine huh. But this is just a mattress seller trying to diversify into CBD products and a business which has already crashed and burned. But at least you can be assured that no Director at EVE will go hungry and a result of failing to deliver a profit. I would say that some kind of fundraising is on the cards, dressed up as expansion of course | terminator101
15/11/2021 13:33 | I might well remind you of ASOS as they built their international business - they were very profitable in the UK and continued to fund loss making overseas businesses to reach the heights they have today but yet they continue to invest the profits made in other markets to expand and build for the future. If the UK&I business is raking in profits in 2022 or even at this very moment based upon the continued growth they stated (as above)you could find yourself sitting in the naughty boys corner once again. I assume BBSN is still bugging you - let go and move on, it's much healthier T101. Plenty of sellers here today, after that big slug was dumped at 2.8p - I am surprised that it is holding up so well at present to be honest but I will not be selling but I might be buying. Good Luck though. Have you considered that I could be talking it up while I could selling down, not that is the case T101 :-) | ![]() clocktower
15/11/2021 12:59 | No mate, you cannot selectively quote things saying they will be in actual profit when its clear they won't be. They are talking about the UK division may be profitable, but then later talk about building up the business in France in the medium term. Capital investment is required there which means more spending = no chance they will be in actual profit for the company in 2022. Yet again you fail to understand what an RNS says, a bit like when you were trying to ramp up Brave Bison mate and say they were "profitable". I offered you the chance for a 101 on reading accounts but you refused that mate. Seems that its more necessary than ever huh. | terminator101
15/11/2021 12:45 | Game, set, and match to clocktower! | ![]() david gruen
15/11/2021 12:32 | May I remind you - "Current Trading and Outlook -- Strong trading momentum in the UK&I has continued with revenues ahead of board expectations at +46% forJuly and August against 2019 pre-Covid equivalents -- Group revenues in July and August increased 1% year-on-year against very strong comparatives and grew 26%on 2019 pre-Covid equivalents -- Net cash as at 31 August 2021 increased to GBP5.9m, with minimal H2 outflow expected -- The UK&I is on-course to report a healthy positive marketing contribution for the second consecutive fullyear as the region moves towards profitability in 2022" | ![]() clocktower
15/11/2021 12:18 | Except that's not actually true at all is it clocktower. In the interims they said "The investment in growth is expected to increase costs in the current year, resulting in a year-on-year increase in the annual loss. But the investment is considered necessary to build a more balanced, larger business, which in the medium term will be sustainably profitable." That reads like next year will be loss making too | terminator101
15/11/2021 11:41 | They suggest it will be profitable by 2022 which is not far away now T101 but who knows things could change and Simba or someone else might be interested in buying it before it does become profitable. | ![]() clocktower
15/11/2021 11:22 | So when is this overvalued lifestyle fluff ever going to be in actual profit huh? That's not going to happen this year is it based on trading statements or updates to the trading statements, especially with the losses increasing in H1. That means there are no metrics you can actually value this business on. And it seems that with someone dumping more shares than the Directors on this overpaid salaries and with millions and millions of 0.1p opinions have bought, its not exactly a bed of roses. | terminator101
15/11/2021 11:17 | What you really mean is let's avoid further discussion about the fact that someone dumped 1.3 million shares substantially below bid in this underperforming lossmaking fluff | terminator101
15/11/2021 10:52 | double post error. | ![]() clocktower
15/11/2021 10:49 | 1,300,000 at 2.8p....must be Warren Buffet lol | ![]() david gruen
15/11/2021 10:47 | Correction 2.8p dump of 1,300,000 | terminator101
15/11/2021 10:45 | The question is why did someone dump 1,300,000 shares for 1.80p?>. That's a big holding by anyone's standards. What did they know huh | terminator101
15/11/2021 10:40 | There you go, the big sell is now visible - that a fair size dump, must have listen to you T101. | ![]() clocktower |
