09/11/2017 05:46 | Well part of the problem may simply be that some of the SLG have gone 'native'. Coupled perhaps with an incentive option or extended position could there be any COI's? Time for a list of total holdings of each member of the SLG to be made public and if some scream 'unfair' then publish all against their usernames and be damned. Complete transparency is perhaps needed at this juncture. Did all holders of EEL stock effectively 'write-off' all decision making to the SLG? If so then the group members have no say in proceedings. If not then the SLG should not be allowed to act in an authoritarian manner with no room for debate or a democratic due process. We are at such an impasse. The hog we are attached to is on the truck to the slaughterhouse. Full group debate and vote needed urgently. All group members need to know what are the options and depending on Nigerian SEC verdict how will the 'rump' be affected. Does the SLG know if OANDO directors are found guilty what the next likely steps will be? We should be made aware of the worse case scenario. | boris cobaka
08/11/2017 23:57 | the slg has became complicit with oando in not doing the right thing IMO(nuke) that is the WRONG approach and has achieved nothing , time to join forces with those wronged by oando and bring a sorry end to this mess , at least we will be able to write it off as a loss then , IF anyone still believes they'll recover anything more than that go book some sessions with a psychiatrist | d1nga
08/11/2017 22:01 | "Rushing" lol. | hercy
08/11/2017 21:50 | For once i agree with MR K Rushing in against Oando now could be very costly. ÉEZ is only a year away. | mknight
08/11/2017 17:01 | Geordie. Well said it seems whatever the majority want the slg will do what they want and sod everyone else they had a vote on the nuke and majority went with use it but no the people at the top of the slg said no.so what is the point of having a group if they won’t do what the majority want or was this the agenda all along to keep the last 18.5% quiet and toe the line.well to me it sure looks like it | maff96
08/11/2017 13:43 | The SLG team's stance, or the collective SLG stance, or is that the same thing? It seems a lot of people want the SLG to assit with the inquiry as being morally the right thing to do. If the SLG don't want to or can't do that then could they explain why to help fellow shareholders understand the SLG team's position? | geordieduke2
08/11/2017 12:58 | Exactly !! The information in the so called "Nuke" should be made available to the Nigerian SEC without any further delay or it will surely make the SLG complicit by withholding information ? | exile
08/11/2017 12:50 | Why wait for an outcome, surely we have may information that may assist them with there enquiries? | hercy
08/11/2017 12:48 | The Slg Teams stance, remains as per the earlier response in post #64740, in waiting for the official outcome of the Nigerian SEC investigation.Slg Team. | mrkeysersoze
08/11/2017 09:47 | I tend to agree strummerj. At the very least discreet enquiries could be made to determine whether anything (nuke or otherwise) would be of value to the investigators. Would be nice to finally put an end to 'want more than 24p groundhog day routine' There is of course the moral question... If we collectively know Oando deliberately broke certain rules or regulations does our silence and the non-use of the nuke option in effect condone their actions? How should we feel if they do the same again to other 'innocent' investors? This subject has never really been broached before and I freely admit to have overlooked this issue to in some way recover a loss. It's never too late until it is. Is it possible our input could spur a different angle of inquiry into their misdeeds. Considering their prior form this outcome was always a possibility. Nuke 'em and if it's MAD so be it. At least we can move on from this sorry affair with a clear conscience. | boris cobaka
08/11/2017 07:24 | Slg are silent as per usual maybe they been arrested or being investigated so they are keeping there heads down | maff96
07/11/2017 15:21 | Thank you. | strummerjon
07/11/2017 15:15 | Well said Strummerjon. I agree. | jeaniehow
07/11/2017 13:45 | come on SLG make a statement please. | wantmorethan24p
07/11/2017 12:57 | and the SLG silence is deafening | geordieduke2
07/11/2017 11:59 | Perhaps I am being slightly disengenuous and the motives are purely of self-interest but it is refreshing to see at last, that certain Nigerian individuals have recognised that the unbridled corruption which is rife throughout both the commercial sector and certain judicial bodies is destroying the credibility of the country in terms of capital investment opportunities and are endeavouring to challenge that culture. It would please me no end if our ‘ representative body ‘, the SLG were to make representations about the notorious ‘ Peak Resolution ‘ matter as a precursor to considering other actions that might be taken. This recent action taken shows that choosing to sit on one’s hands waiting for those who have shown themselves time and again to be untrustworthy and utterly unscrupulous has been the wrong option. Surely, now is the perfect window of opportunity to challenge those who have treated us with such utter disregard and contempt for so long? | strummerjon
07/11/2017 10:36 | Should Oando go bust where does this leave EEL? | geordieduke2
07/11/2017 09:40 | THEY SHOULD ALL BE PUT IN JAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | wantmorethan24p
06/11/2017 10:51 | or it might all come good in a couple of months. I take it a conf call is off the agenda for a while? And will there be any meaningless accounts this year. Almost time for another of those upbeat false hope posts from spp. | geordieduke2
