12/9/2017 10:20 | Thank you for updating us. Really appreciate it. Hope Mr K is making a strong recovery. | jeaniehow
11/9/2017 23:02 | I wouldn't be surprised if the SLG inner circle would be against this though. They have always made it clear this is not a democracy and they know what's best, which I suppose is something that could be argued they have earned for taking it on. | geordieduke2
11/9/2017 18:43 | mr k are you still alive and not dead. shot by nigerian gangsters. | wantmorethan24p
09/9/2017 08:13 | I'm also in favour of a website to be able to speak openly and hopefully find a solution. This has dragged on for far too long and being told not to discuss this openly on here isn't helping. i do trust Mr K to help us | jeaniehow
08/9/2017 14:49 | Exile Totally agree Why didn't the SLG open a free website where registered shareholders could log in using a password and shut this meaningless thread down? | fatfish
08/9/2017 14:49 | Sounds like a reasonable suggestion. Would rather try something however futile. At least it's less boring as doing nothing and being passive. Some would argue doing nothing has kept the company going but it would be nice to know whether there are other options for people to make an informed choice that could be shareholder can vote on based on their shareholding. If shareholders vote to keep as is for another 10 years then fair enough. | geordieduke2
08/9/2017 14:24 | Why havn't we had a meeting of the minority shareholders? Its been 10 yrs since the start of this fiasco. It would give the opportunity to some, if not most of us here to understand what has actually happened and where we all stand now. We have all been contained on a free ADVFN bulletin board where nothing we say means anything and certainly has no influence over the struggle to get fair value for the shares we all hold. Why didn't the SLG open a free website where registered shareholders could log in using a password and shut this meaningless thread down? For all we know geordieduke could be Wale Tinubu and Mr K could be Phil Dimmock. If Mr K is genuine surely it's not too late to make a change, get a bit of new blood onto the SLG and revise strategy? | exile
08/9/2017 11:38 | It must be worth a good deal more now one would hope slg we await your comments please | jeaniehow
08/9/2017 11:17 | wantmorethan24p..... edit: actually it was over 2 yrs ago I think....How time flies. | exile
07/9/2017 21:49 | Perhaps, we'll never know, in fact we know virtually nothing about what's going on so that's a big assumption and leap of faith that we're still here because of him. I mean what specific act has MrK done that has ensured we're still here? So if MrK wasn't around then what would have happened? I'm not saying he's done nothing I'm just wondering what he has single-handedly done to ensure we're still here. Is still here actually a good thing? 3p or 50p would depend on how many shares someone has, how many shares would you get for 50p? I've got 74200, they might be worth a quid to someone willing to take a punt and wait a couple of decades more. I would say they're worth what you can get for them, which is nothing. Whether we're still here or not still here, when you count up what we have it's the same, nothing. That's not to decry any efforts MrK has made it's just a self-evident fact. Where is the evidence otherwise and just because a Telegraph journalist speculates on what will happen doesn't mean it will come to pass. If she is so good with he predictions why is she still a journalist and not retired in decadent luxury? It's just false hope, it's not real, the only thing that's real in this is that we have nothing, fact. | geordieduke2
07/9/2017 15:40 | if it had not been for mr k and co then we would not still be here. imo our shares are worth between 3p and 50p. | wantmorethan24p
07/9/2017 09:53 | Maybe months equate to decades ;-) | geordieduke2
06/9/2017 19:59 | Article in the (Monday) Telegraph Business section by Jillian Ambrose, stating Gas will emerge as the world's most important source of energy by the mid 2030's after a slow descent of oil. Gas will also be the largest single source of energy for decades to come and gas will overtake oil as the world's biggest source of energy by 2034. EEL's OPL321 and OPL323 have plenty of gas....... | whowants2bamilionare
06/9/2017 17:50 | oil price moving nearer to the $60 mark. when they said they will do a deal at $60. | wantmorethan24p
05/9/2017 19:45 | i support mr k still even though he has not posted a while. | wantmorethan24p
04/9/2017 13:14 | They did urge everyone to only say nice things, not rock the boat, but then everyone went along with it. Just because someone asks you to do something you don't have to do it. When there were opportunities to be probably just a minor irritant we were asked not to be and everyone went along with it. In the unlikely event the nuke was real it was made clear it would never be fired. 10 years have gone by so where are fruits of that strategy? If MrK got in there and sorted himself out then fair play to him for having the balls to do it while everyone else sat back hoping he would sort them out too. So is MrK at fault or everyone else for letting it happen? How many would sort themselves out given the opportunity if it meant everyone else lost out as part of the deal. We all had a choice and made it. If MrK, spp, NatHart and others "in the know" got something back then good luck to them. What they could do though, if true, is give everyone a break and bring closure to it to save people living in false hope, which seems a bit cruel and unnecessary. | geordieduke2

04/9/2017 09:44 | All this venom being directed towards the SLG amazes me. Where were you all when EEL had Annual Meetings, similarly have any of you contributed during Conference Calls? The SLG was only ever a means for the Shareholders to be represented by a single body and to share information. You are all free to withdraw from that representation and go your own route. Cut out the personal attacks, take responsibility for your own actions and remember people have priorities outside this Bulletin Board. | boilandgas
04/9/2017 00:16 | Please explain what's been going on Mr K. | jeaniehow |
