maff96. SMELL the coffee matey and sell your shares?! I've been reading this board since it started and did find the last post from the shareholders action group somewhat patronising and mid judged?! Surely that same message sh oukd have been sent to each of the members confidentially rather than waving acted flat to the bull of very very (rightly so) p' d off holders!!

does anyone know what the nuclear option is because it sounds to me like someones blowing smoke up are asses,i been reading back through all the messages and all i can say is they have played a blinder with this almost 10years on and in the same position as at the start, lets all pamper to oando we dont want to upset them.My opinion is everyone should start ringing up the company everyday and be a complete pain in the ass.i might contact kosmos and find out if they would like my shares because it all looks like we will be here in another 10years still saying the same thing.does anyone know who mrkeysersoe is and his team, who appointed them to speak for you,we were offered 6p now down to 3p i belive unless i read this wrong, yes the slg team are doing a wonderful job next year we might get a penny and people will still say yeh well done slg team,WAKE UP SELL THE COFFEE AND STOP BURYING YOUR HEADS IN THE SAND

Well, if there was a nuclear option, it should have been played by now. With Kosmos on board, the time might be late, but, who knows, they may welcome it?

Bring it down? if you are at the bottom you can't go any lower. What would you suggest we can say to talk it up? We have a wonderful hard-working CEO. The amount of oil produced? The lack of debt? On the other hand how much do we pay the CEO and others for doing nothing? If there is something positive, anything, can you enlighten us what it is?

if we could offset losses on our tax returns, then the return will yield a higher % than the distant offer from oer,so sack the slg and be done with all the bull.

Do the same rules apply for calling a meeting in a delisted company as a listed one? If so we only need 5% of shareholders agreeing to this.
Resolutions could include
1. Asking for Dimmock to resign.
2. Appointment of an independent NED.
3. Re-negotiation of our so called loan to the parent company.
Just a thought.

What's this nuclear all about if any of us had anything worthwhile over the company we would have used it long ago and been done with it.that threat was along time ago they are laughing at us.

I appreciate that according to Dimmock there maybe parties interested in our assets. If we were lucky enough to sell at a decent price we are still at the mercy of our major shareholder. There is nothing to force a distribution of surplus funds to the minority and anything left in the pot could just sit there to cover outgoings for years and years.
There just isn't any incentive to treat us with respect which was apparent during the recent conference call. We are just an irritant and why they haven't got rid of us ages ago is beyond me. Just why are we kept hanging on?
