28/6/2024 12:36 | Dividend came in today. Decided to re-invest while the share price is still low. | ![]() ltinvest
27/6/2024 14:38 | Another eye popping transaction comp printed last week - Corpay bought GPS for $725M, 7x revenue multiple and a 16-17x EBITDA multiple. Comparable size to EQLS ($100M revenue), higher EBITDA margin (40%), growing about 20% p.a. Obviously Corpay already disclaimed interest in EQLS so not suggesting they'll do anything, but it's a data point which supports EQLS' management view that there's a very wide gap between public and private market valuations for this type of business. | ![]() anon12345

27/6/2024 07:47 | What day is the trading update due? | ![]() rizler
25/6/2024 16:32 | Will be interesting to see next week's trading update. They did nearly £540k RPWD (£9.7MM over 18 working days from March 16 to April 12) - if they maintain or improve that rate throughout Q2, stock should respond positively. | ![]() anon12345
25/6/2024 15:18 | Now we need a three-way fight! | ![]() jaknife
25/6/2024 15:13 | Interesting to see another well known and highly astute Private Investor, Nick Cotton, has also declared above 1%. Lets hope that announcements of increased stakes by Ed Roskill, Gordon Jones, Nick Cotton really is the "smart money" | ![]() simso
25/6/2024 10:06 | Share price at similar level to where it was before all the takeover nonsense started | ![]() amt
24/6/2024 13:37 | That's interesting, I wonder if they have an announcement to make besides a trading update | ![]() 66fingers
24/6/2024 11:37 | 3rd of July is the H1 trading update according to the website. It was originally the W/C 8th of July but they seem to have moved it forward for some reason. | ![]() ltinvest

21/6/2024 11:42 | I think that Gordon has the bigger tent in his garden. :-) | ![]() fft
21/6/2024 11:30 | Personally I think they are forming a new consortium to launch a bid for the company. This is the sort of speculation we need on advfn right now right? | ![]() loglorry1
21/6/2024 11:27 | Can we have a fight please between Ed Roskill and Gordon Jones to settle, once and for all, which one has the bigger ..... number of followers? | ![]() jaknife
21/6/2024 11:13 | fft, Sorry about that. Yep, you are right. | ![]() carcosa
21/6/2024 11:10 | Carcosa. Gordon Jones has more than 1% so has to notify whenever a sale or purchase occurs. | ![]() fft
21/6/2024 11:00 | Given his holding is less than 1% am I right in thinking he would have to be connected to one or more of the offering parties or acting in concert with them as per Rule 8 of the Takeover panel hxxps://code.thetake Given his first announcement was conincident with MDP then its probably a mute point anyway. Or am I reading too much into this? | ![]() carcosa
21/6/2024 10:21 | Interesting to observe that exceptional investor Gordon Jones (aka Glasshalfful) has also just added to his already sizeable position. | ![]() simso
20/6/2024 11:40 | Cheers carcosa - Roskill obviously has a very interesting profile. | ![]() masurenguy
20/6/2024 10:36 | We were going pretty cheap hopefully we've seen the bottom now. | ![]() ltinvest
20/6/2024 09:49 | Ed Roskill is a very smart cookie. He's done fantastically well for himself and his family office over the years. Clearly, nobody knows the outcome here but you can bet he's taken a position based on decent risk return. | ![]() loglorry1
20/6/2024 09:41 | For those that may not know Edward Roskill is a British investor and former investment banker. He previously worked at Robert Fleming and JP Morgan as an investment banker and later co-founded Strata Partners (2002), a corporate finance advisory firm. Strata Partners is an independent corporate finance partnership that provides mergers and acquisitions advisory services in the Tech Sector. He is now a millionaire private investor. Roskill has served as an officer and director for several UK companies but given his 'retirement' has resigned from those positions and spends his investment time managing his family's investment portfolio concentrated in small UK public companies. He is generally regarded as a very successful investor. E&OE | ![]() carcosa
20/6/2024 08:37 | FWIW it is interesting to note that to date there have been no significant or reportable institutional sales since the MDP announcement last week. Also today it is reported that the Roskill Family Office, who already own circa 2m shares, purchased a further 20,000 @105.8p yesterday and also increased a long derivative position by a further 81,500 @106.2p. Obviously they don't share the view, expressed in post #3513 a couple of days ago, that he was "Glad to see the market is finally seeing sense here, my view is that this is uninvestable until they disclose the interest income split." | ![]() masurenguy |
