15/11/2021 16:19 | Just look at their website; they have forecast IRRs between 12-14% The feedstock is free which helps. They then have revenue from syngas for heat and electricity as well as biochar; when they further process it into hydrogen then there is another revenue stream. | aja2
15/11/2021 16:15 | Having read quite a bit its a slight worry about Kibo, if only for the reason that on the face of it, it doesn't seem a good business to do business with and yet EQT mention a joint 'vision' or something like that. A joint vision with Kibo isn't exactly attractive. I know this has been done to death a bit here previously, so hopefully not a major issue, given the list of projects in the pipeline. The old question of whether EQT or anyone else can make profit from reprocessing waste in any way shape or form, appears to still be around, although I confess that I don't know if there are businesses profiting or not. I can just remember various initiatives and processes appearing through the years that just gobbled up investment with no final returns of note. Has anyone seen any projections on actual likely profits from a reprocessing plant using EQT tech. here ? Have EQT published anything ? | yump
15/11/2021 14:28 | Eqtec (LSE: EQT) is an ESG penny stock that I think could thrive as we transition to a more sustainable future. The stock has fallen recently, but is still up an explosive 140% over one year. Has this recent share price weakness presented me with a buying opportunity? | stevea171
15/11/2021 09:21 | Thanks - Am just reading back through lots of RNS’s ! | yump
15/11/2021 09:09 | Some reasonably large cash deals to be settled before year end according to repeated statements, circa £15m, just read latest results/view presentations Yump. | gspanner
15/11/2021 08:45 | Nice to see this moving up again. Tbh I don’t know that much about EQT yet - is there any specific news expected ? Or just waiting for projects to kick off fully ? | yump
14/11/2021 19:03 | O/t but if you like the idea of being in renewables/sustainab Involved in hydrogen storage - rail - road haulage - Its not “flown” yet. Nice quiet bb. I’m in here from a few months ago - completely missed it early on at 0.5p. PS news was overdue - I knew nothing guv - it wasn’t me ;-) | yump

14/11/2021 11:06 | Logik Developments, EQT's partner with the Deeside RDF 9.9 MW development project has other big redevelopment schemes under way proximate to the University of Manchester. Trio works up £200m Upper Brook Street revamp 12 May 2021, 10:46 Dan Whelan Commercial or education space totalling 1m sq ft and a 300,000 sq ft student accommodation scheme feature in the Manchester masterplan being readied by investors Brookfield, Logik Developments and McLaren Property. Site assembly for the £200m masterplan began with Logik’s acquisition of the former Citroen garage opposite the University of Manchester’s Henry Royce Institute on Upper Brook Street, which runs parallel to Oxford Road. Alongside its joint venture partners, Logik, headed up by former England cricketer Andrew Flintoff, is in talks to acquire “adjoining sites in the area to bring forward the masterplan vision”. | stevea171
14/11/2021 10:59 | I can't deny that a large partner or atleast an advocate would do us a lot of good I feel | dougy1
14/11/2021 10:43 | Need a link with a big partner . ITM , CWR, PHE ,.... all getting into bed with the big guys and their SPs are soaring as a consequence. Wood group didnt come through after last years hopes but they are a bunch of dozers anyway so maybe no loss . Always seems to be such a potential in the background and with all the rush into hydrogen and plastic waste maybe we will get such an interest soon | juju44
14/11/2021 10:07 | DP and EQT management visiting North Fork, California under construction where EQT has recently increased their stake to 49% and the other projects in development in California last week. "Other site visits interesting and exciting". So we can expect an update on these projects near term after they return. North Fork 2 MWe with biochar to complete and begin operations H1/22 following grid connection 31/3?: The site will convert 17,550 metric tonnes of biomass annually into clean electric and thermal energy and into 1,600 metric tonnes of biochar per year, for use as a way to naturally capture carbon through use as a soil substrate in forests and the agriculture industry. | stevea171
13/11/2021 18:21 | Thank you! You're right! It is 3500 kWh.And if the unit (with a COP is 100) makes 6MW instantly, that makes 144 MWh= 144000 kWh.Than the result of a 6MW plant looks even better! It can provide Avery day energie for 15000 homes ( for households with an average consumption of 3500kWh/year= 9,6kWh/day)Correct me if I'm wrong. | marnix1
13/11/2021 16:46 | Yes its slightly confusing with the units if not familiar. A kw is a rate of energy use or production - so 1kw is 1 joule per second. Kwh is an amount of energy used. So 1kwh is the total energy used by a 1kw fire running for an hour. Lets not mention the random food labelling in calories and kilocalories, where they sometimes seem to be used interchangeably ! | yump
13/11/2021 16:18 | Marnix. You are mixing units in your assumptions. An average house uses about 3500kWh per year. That is a combination of power and time. A 1MW power plant is the amount of power the plant produces at any one time. To get the annual amount in kWh assuming it runs continually you’d multiply by 1*24*365 = 8760 MWh, or 8,760,000 kWh. It wouldn’t run continuously at that rate though. Hope that helps. | money multipier
13/11/2021 14:14 | I'm a long way investor and truly believe in this technology. But I have a question about your calculation about the energy consumption of a household.I believe that the average consumption is around 3500 kW per year. That is 3,5 MW.You mentioned that 1MW can provide 650 households per year. Do I make a mistake here?? | marnix1

12/11/2021 14:15 | Not too sure what price you're looking at but I'd say 10% rise today based on the buying trend shows that it is having an effect on share price ..I also notice the same buyer (too consistent to be coincidence) has been buying tranches of 1M shares at a time by the looks of it. Wonder if its heading towards TR1 status or if its institutional? That's various blocks at roughly £13.5K a piece. | dougy1
12/11/2021 13:17 | Think rise today is linked to PHE announcement. So sector rise. Good luck to them. And hopefully we can get a partner that benefits us. | m4rtinu
12/11/2021 13:15 | Another pair of spam accounts promoting this Zoplyforever idiot on twitter. What a sad life.Filtered | dougy1 |
