you certainly did hear that of VRS and the comment is still valid, though EQT did subsequently come up suddenly to earn an equally impressive promise of outperformance.
Do you want to waste both our times debating whether two shares can separately claim the same title?

You infer disappointment with VRS. I don't think you have done your homework on the quest to commercialise graphene. It took 30 years to commercialise silicon. It will probably take more time than a get-rich- quick huckster would care to give it.

The EQT process is still not obvious and has taken seven years to get noticed or we would not still be being poisoned daily by the world wide incineration of wastes

Versarien is another that would be transformative to one's portfolio if a deal lands at this level, however Eqtec actually has plant sold and deployed and contracts very close to completion although not signed. Given its market cap and proximal business i think its significantly undervalued.

Post 1404-“For me this is the share of the decade”-I seem to recall a similar comment on the VRS thread?

Yes indeed. Ironically DPs involvement has increased the chance of success whilst simultaneously increasing the chance of a takeover. I hope the latter is avoided.

The hydrogen bubble seems to move all shares within it in unison. After yesterdays savage fall on profit taking they have all swung back upwards again taking EQT with them. However the Billingham RNS has added impetus Yesterday's retracement was also Fiboncci driven and we have upward momentum again. A fairly safe buy up to and beyond 0.9p.

The Billingham contract is a company maker. It dwarfs all previous 'wins' but is not quite home and dry. After financial close there is still the execution risk on startup. Successful start-up on municipal waste will be an important milestone. Capitalisation will, thereafter surely attain x3 - x4 bag-status from here ie > £100m.

For me this is the share of the decade- unless it succums to acquisition.

In addition to the extension to the MOU exclusivity period, Scott Bros has undertaken to enter into a legally binding option agreement, which, if agreed, will grant EQTEC and its partners the right, but not the obligation, to purchase the entire issued share capital of Billingham EFW Limited, the Project SPV, from Scott Bros, subject to agreement on consideration and other terms. The MOU extension announced herein sets out the intention of executing this option agreement within 45 days and that such option agreement, if and when entered into, will supersede all other agreements between the Parties regarding the potential acquisition of the SPV.

I inferred from the RNS that eliminating Scott Bros from the JV will result in a financially more robust project, with more committed partners.

If they are able to close the Billingham deal , the implications will be monumental for EQT both financially and reputationally.
