10/3/2017 08:01 | Article on Peppa Pig in China. Pretty standard stuff but does mention PJ masks heading for china, new children shows and the 5 year plan for peppa. "a new brand called PJ Masks with Disney globally, which we’re in discussion with different partners to bring to China" "We are going to be releasing a new brand on that side every one or two years, to complement the existing two. On the girl’s side, we’ve recently found two concepts, but it would be nice to have another one in the girl empowering space. Where we’re really looking for content more aggressively is on the boy’s action side, in a slightly older demographic of six- to nine-year-old boys and girls. We’ve just taken on two new comedies to develop and produce. Comedies are slightly less strategic because very few give rise to a licensing and merchandising program." "How do you plan to grow Peppa over the next five years? OD: Peppa has been in the UK for 13 years, so that leaves a lot of potential in places like the US, where the licensing program is only in Year Two. China and South East Asia in general is a huge area of opportunity for us. We’d still love to crack Japan at some point. We’re continuing to grow in Europe, in France, Spain and Italy. In Germany, we’ve struggled a bit, but we’re trying to reorganize because it’s very strong on digital there and clearly resonating." | neilsy
07/3/2017 09:47 | Thanks - good to know they're planning one and we don't have to wait for the full year results. | 1gw

07/3/2017 09:22 | It would be nice to get a TU to see how things are going ahead of year end. January TU 2 years ago, early March last year - and late March 3 and 4 years ago. | 1gw

01/3/2017 15:27 | I've taken advantage of that dip to buy back the shares I sold in October - and at virtually the same price. Irrespective of ITV's interest, I think the future looks bright for ETO after their 1H results and I hope they convert that 1H promise into a good 2H and an exciting outlook. | 1gw
01/3/2017 09:58 | I think that little drop down was caused by the ITV results webcast where Crozier has just said that ITV has no interest in pursuing EOne further. | 1gw
28/2/2017 14:09 | I agree there Salpara. With the success of Girl on the train at the box office and the pre-christmas sales of the BFG dvd. No large acquistions and no large film purchases that I know of, we should be seeing a decent profit return. They have always blamed the film division in the past, running out of excuses now. Also looking for continued success in Family and TV. | neilsy
28/2/2017 08:45 | I am currently not invested as I was unhappy with the half year results but they should hopefully update the market either this week or next. They really need to start converting all those investment dollars into clean after tax profit and this is the year that it should start coming through. | salpara111
22/2/2017 21:37 | Ben and Holly's the star of ETO's portfolio as far as I'm concerned - absolutely love it. Far better than that piggy thing. If there's anyone who's never watched it, try Chickens Ride West on Youtube... | verulamium
22/2/2017 18:24 | Thanks Robbie not sure if sending kids to sleep is ETO's objective with Ben & Holly though. | werty5
22/2/2017 13:16 | Should have let the baby watch Ben & Holly last night. Always gets my daughter to sleep. | robbiereliable
21/2/2017 17:12 | My bad names were wrong to be fair I had no sleep last night with a crying baby. Well thats my excuse anyway and I am sticking with it. | werty5
21/2/2017 16:18 | Yep Ben and Holly is owned by Astley Baker Davies Ltd, eone owns 85% the other 3 owning 5% each. | neilsy
21/2/2017 15:02 | No I think Ashley, Baker and Davis still hold a slice but must admit not very sure how big that slice is. | werty5
21/2/2017 11:35 | Are Ben & Holly fully owned by ETO? | robbiereliable
20/2/2017 21:42 | Yes good range in John Lewis, don't suppose we are the target audience for it, catchy tune though. Either way, can only be earnings accretive as it's still relatively unknown but has the hallmarks of another hit for ETO family, credit where it's due | fozzyb
17/2/2017 20:58 | Nice to see PJ Masks toys in the shops. I can't stand it personally but my 2 year old loves it. | robbiereliable
15/2/2017 15:04 | No smoke without fire, I think ITV will have to up their game as well as their offer on this occasion. | steptoes yard
