Agreed, no way will Entain and Flutter be allowed to merge, too many anti-trust issues. There were headlines last week that Entain and Flutter benefited from M&A stories following Blackstone buying Crown in Australia and Playtech’s ongoing bid.

The following stocks were cited in bid speculation in U.K. newspapers:
Daily Mail: ENT LN, FLTR LN (Says Crown Resorts shareholder approval of takeover by Blackstone spurred talk of consolidation in the industry)
Times: ENT LN, FLTR LN (Links share gains to Playtech’s statement about possible bid by TTB Partners)
