Recent investor discussions surrounding Entain Plc (ENT) have highlighted an optimistic outlook regarding their joint venture, BetMGM, particularly in the context of its accelerating revenue growth. A noted contributor, "gambler911," highlighted that BetMGM's underlying revenue growth for the second half of 2024 accelerated to 19%, contributing to a total annual revenue of $2.1 billion, even as underlying cash losses (EBITDA) increased significantly. The sentiment among investors appears buoyed by potential positive developments, anticipating BetMGM's break-even in 2025 with net revenue guidance projected between $2.4 billion and $2.5 billion. Quotes such as "BetMGM are now really on their game. Oozing confidence," from user "maddox," emphasize a growing belief in the venture's robustness.
Despite the overall optimism, some investors expressed caution about Entain's stock performance, with remarks hinting at a lack of sustained investor interest outside of speculative takeover talks. User "macarona" pointed out the volatility of the stock price, stating, "The only time this SP goes up strongly is when there are takeover rumours." Discussions also touched on potential delays in new US market opportunities for iGaming, creating mixed feelings around future growth prospects. Still, many see the valuation disparity as an opportunity, with "srpactive" stating, "we are valued at £4bn, ha ha ha ha, what a buy for someone," highlighting a belief that the market is undervaluing Entain's assets and growth potential.

4 weeks until entain results…what are the odds that we don’t hear any bad news to knock the share price before then?? |
I think the fact that entain can then use that cash for its own needs at the moment is great news. From a management time view have they even been able to look at the other businesses the last few years with everything that has gone on. |
