Personally I'm a buyer under 1500. Drip feed as there's no way I can time purchases to hit the bottom. ENT figures were good. Company executing on strategy. In 3 years we'll all laugh about this or be a small pile of radioactive dust.CM

Shore Capital: Entain offers ‘compelling’ valuation -

Full-year results from gambling group Entain (ENT) came in at the top end of guidance and Shore Capital says the valuation is ‘compelling’.

Analyst Greg Johnson retained his ‘buy’ recommendation on the stock, formerly GVC, which fell 1p to £15.59 on Thursday after reporting a 5% increase in earnings to £882m in 2021.

The company has also enjoyed strength in BetMGM, its joint venture in the US, where revenues have risen five-fold to $850m.

‘At the current price… we see the market discounting a c.8x Ebitda multiple for its global platform and a $7bn valuation on BetMGM,’ said Johnson.

‘With the momentum across the group, especially with the rapidly developing market, we would see valuations across both discrete channels as compelling.’

Some commentators said last year the ftse 100 should
do well this year, possibly due to what you say.
But the ftse 100 has not been part of the bull market
since 2000, we have not moved. So where the US
might, the UK should not.
But we shall see.

I think we are entering a bear market. Judging by the way stocks are being sold off.

This should be flying given the weeks of market turmoil, my guess is the serious money is being taken out and put elsewhere.

Entain Plc has been looking at a strong 2021 for a while now, but the final results are in and the brand whose digital transformation has been presided over by chief executive Jette Nygaard-Andersen has tapped into a resilient and unshakable source of strong financial performance.https://www.gamblingnews.com/news/entain-sees-online-growth-sustain-fy2021-results-retail-returns-in-2022/

Yes and in the mean time the US companies will buy
them cheaper than they should be able to and when the
above is settled US wins again.

Who owns Wmh?
Who wants to own ent?
Who has attempted to buy ent?

The uk is just bending over backwards to ensure they
help their US bosses, even after these fantastic results,
an investment house in London is shorting. MW

Disgraceful, why don't we just give the whole country
away.

The Gambling Act White Paper draft out in May is a big issue here and across the industry. First redrafting since 2005 has got all parties not wanting to show the industry is in good health So that means No divvis, no buybacks and both here and Flutter picking up small units for hundreds of millions (not billions) to ensure they do not have so much cash left over they have to flaunt it. This could lead to far more adverse reaction/bigger demands and leave bookies in a pickle for the next 17 years once new rules established. Flutter have even taken to highlighting some of the big loss events of tens of millions to demonstrate things are not always one sided Just when it is about to get released and all can come out from behind the sofa another postponement is announced and so it continues, cat and mouse.

ownership of certain stock. I was just using google
as a headline figure. No need to be smart is there.
