20/5/2019 08:29 | Master gaslighter is currently changing the covers on his bed, he will be along promptly to tell us one of the many wide targets covering all outcomes has been met.It is of course all TA related and nothing to do with company news as usual. | stansmith3
20/5/2019 08:26 | Definitely a leak!!!! | ammu12
20/5/2019 08:26 | I don't see an RNS, but something has changed! 21.5! Looks to me as though we've been buying golden tickets for the right train. Now it's been 'fitted out' it's on its maiden voyage. 22 looks possible today but could we actually reach/break the higher high on the daily at around 23.5? | stupmy
20/5/2019 08:25 | Where is Master RSI? Hoping to hear his views on the breakout ? | ammu12

20/5/2019 08:02 | Looking good for the upside today. POO good and ENQ share price breaking up from the 20.4 resistance on the open. Maybe our time in the warmth of the spring sunshine has finally come | stupmy
20/5/2019 00:41 | 45k achieved and looks like it's averaging 40k+ for the past weeks/months so it's improving.I reckon the keyword is the performance is 'improving'Good luck with your buy in price I hope it works out with you and your strategy. As said Brent above 72. How much is enquest making per day at current production.... share price at 20p | ammu12
19/5/2019 23:09 | Ammu, Is there an echo in here? The company also said “we are working with the operator on several initiatives designed to increase the productivity of the assets on a sustainable basis”. Sustainable being the keyword as 45k has been achieved previously. On a lighter note Brent has opened up 1%, let's hope the gap gets filled between now and Wednesday! | andypop1
19/5/2019 22:10 | Mr Thomson said the heavy oil field had been plagued by production equipment issues. But he said Cairn has been making progress with partners towards improving the performance of the field, with production hitting 45,000 barrels per day yesterday. | ammu12
19/5/2019 21:04 | Sicknote, Kraken has always been a game changer but unfortunately has turned the game against the company with the debt incurred to get it to first oil followed by the disappointing production levels that forced the company to go cap in hand to investors on two occasions and to seek two payday loans. The lunatics on the asylum have been posting spreadsheet for years trying to justify their investments, the truth is the market has no faith in the company after two failed developments and the debt associated with those developments. Both the open offer shares and the RI shares are underwater with oil at $72, the company is priced to fail. It is unlikely to fail with AB owning such a large stake but let's not forget the debt needs to be renegotiated shortly as it becomes due in 2021. End of life assets is where the company has a proven record, Magnus, when fully paid for (up to $1B in profit share), will be a prime example, so long as they keep enough set aside for the increased decommissioning liabilities. Good luck tomorrow. | andypop1
19/5/2019 12:36 | one day rodders. they could be debt free in 5-6 yrs | deanroberthunt
19/5/2019 11:33 | : from the lse boardLoad #37Today 10:30Yeah, Now Kraken is an second game changer after Magnus.Unbelievable this is only 20pWhat value could we estimate for a debt free Enq in future? With EBITDA of around 1 billion usdValue: 3 billion usd?Saw this text in swedish forum, numbers looks resonable to me and debt reduction inline with my spreadsheet.Pareto expects revenues in 2019 of $ 1,575 million given $ 71 / barrel. In 2020, you estimate $ 1,827 million at $ 78 / barrel. This gives eps after tax of $ 0.14 for 2019 and $ 0.28 for 2020.According to Pareto, production is 70 kbobd 2019-2020. Cash Flow $ 0.37 2019 and $ 0.55 2020.It is also written that the risk for Enq scarves if oil prices fall to $ 60 / barrel. Then the company may have difficulty amortizing, but in a more probable scenario, Pareto sees net debt fall to $ 950 million by 2020, which also gives financial space and also dots AB's debt targetsN a I dyor Sicknote | s34icknote
19/5/2019 10:22 | Mr Thomson said the heavy oil field had been plagued by production equipment issues. But he said Cairn has been making progress with partners towards improving the performance of the field, with production hitting 45,000 barrels per day yesterday. Sounds good. Mick | mickinvest

18/5/2019 11:14 | I posted the other day the fundamental improvement across the board on all key performance indicators, from 2016 to today...they are significant, production, operating costs, reserves, debt, EBITDA, etc.. but still none of this has been imported into the valuation...I'm wondering if the Oil Sector is so out of favour, that the ratings of the past are just never going to be attained... | deanroberthunt
17/5/2019 20:57 | Leon, Based on that statement from Cairn it is safe to say they don't see the current assumed production being sustainable without the initiatives being implemented. Buy on Wednesday sell on Thursday. Good luck all. | andypop1
17/5/2019 13:47 | It is a bit dull isn't it. Still, news should move it when it comes. Hopefully by at least the 10% that PMO got. Of course that might just be the start of gradual rerating! One can always hope. Price tried again to break 20.4 today. No success so far. | stupmy
17/5/2019 13:37 | We are particularly pleased with the performance of Catcher, which is operating ahead of our expectations and where operating efficiency is excellent. While we have reduced our reserve estimates for Kraken, we know what needs to be done to improve the performance of the field and we are working with the operator on several initiatives designed to increase the productivity of the assets on a sustainable basis. | leoneobull |
