Interesting piece Steve. I'd forgotten about ENQ involvement. Should provide fodder for share price movements one way or the other in time. I was hoping we'd finish around 22.15, but it looks like it will be a little lower. If POO stays relatively stable overnight, I can easily imagine seeing share price test the 23.5p previous high tomorrow. Can't see it getting much higher though until we get the update.

I wonder if some of you guys are aware of the debt situation of the UK? If not, do a bit of research. whilst not as bad as some, still appalling! No country has ever paid back the amount of debt we have. Gov'ts over the last 25 years have been bestowing upon us a standard of living we are not earning. You must have read that the next generation will have to deal with our generations borrowing and not enough cash now for Police, Education, social Services, Military, NHS etcetc, the list is endless.

All this in spite of (or because of) the great politicians we've had and more and more of 'em. In England we have 4 layers, Town, County, Uk and Europe. The Scots, Irish and Welsh have an extra layer, 5 in total! Anything that's wrong ain't their fault, of course. Very worried about the future for my kids and Grandkids.

Caught the tram into Nottm from the hospital couple of weeks ago at 4.00pm. Full of Chinese students, not a few, FULL. These kids will become Professors and Lecturers and the next generation of Chinese will stay at home to be taught! I worked in China before retiring and their work ethic is unbelievable, leaves the Yanks behind and theirs ain't shabby compared to us and Europe, that's what has got Trump worried.

Sorry, rant over. regards `Richard

Does the Brexit party want to privatise the NHS via an insurance scheme? BREXIT is about making us more like our American brethren. Donald duck or Mickey Mouse, OK, no thanks to huge medical bills

The need to get the debt under 1 billion usd ASAP. At that point with their tax credits and production I don't see it being an issue at all. Then the fireworks really start.

They could use part of the $150m windfall to buy back some shares at these levels.

Brent currently +$71... page 22 of the Results Presentation "EBITDA increases ~$150m at $70/bbl vs. $60/bbl". So think about the impact on leverage/debt pay down of an incremental $150m of EBITDA. Especially vs. a market cap today of $485m (30% of the MC)!!

stan,

I agree that there is much on the supply side that's been in the oil bulls favour, but opposing that the demand side is looking much more risky.

China/US trade war will continue to stifle demand. Continued EU problems (whether the UK is in or out) will choke European demand (Read the book - you'll understand).

Whether OPEC will keep managing supply to suit is unlikely if demand drops much further, or if the currently shut-in supplies you mentioned manage to sort out their own problems.

So the big picture for me is a potentially oversupplied market.

But in the short term the thing that's keeping it up there is a risk of a severe curtailment in the middle east, leading to $100 plus.

I'm not too worried about the shift to renewables, since the faster we try to get there, the MORE oil we will need in the immediate... A slow and steady growth in renewable energy, that exceeds global growth by a couple of % every year, is probably manageable, and will allow the world the become "mostly" hydrocarbon free in perhaps 4-5 decades.... Assuming, of course, that we have that long, and don't get overtaken by another ice-age before then....!!!

A man has been charged with assaulting Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage by throwing a milkshake at him.
The Brexit Party leader had given a speech in Newcastle on Monday ahead of the European elections when a drink was thrown at him.
Paul Crowther, 32, of Throckley, Newcastle, has been charged with common assault and criminal damage relating to Mr Farage's microphones.
He is due to appear at North Tyneside Magistrates' Court on 18 June.

...I see the man who did exactly the same to Tommy Robinson, didn't get charged...or even a warning...wonder why that is !!! err, difficult...
