That's what I was talking about in my previous post for those interested. Shareguy, we call this a 'chart'.



A close over 20.4 looks like a very positive move to me (not that it's yet happened). In the bigger picture, it brings AI's IH&S into play, where a close over the neckline (currently 24.2 ish gives a target in excess of 30). You could also view it as the formation of a 123 low pattern. (1) being the low around March 18th (15 p or so), (2) being the high on April 23rd, (3) being the higher low suggesting trend change (double bottom on 7 and 15th May in this case). To activate the 123 pattern, price needs to exceed the peak of April 23rd (23.5 or so). More often than not, activation of these patterns leads to good rises at least in the short term. Basically higher low, higher high = suggesting trend change in the short term at least.

Crude also looking perky. I think we'll finish above 20.4, which might not sound like much, but I have that as bullish. A finish above 20.6 would be very bullish

A perfect 'Inverse Head & Shoulders pattern' is potentially in play here as well.

If the pattern does play out then we should see pretty much immediate upward price action and gives a price target of circa 30p ! Never say never !

Next stop should be 23p !

There was an autoseller on L2 selling at 20p but now that has cleared we are catching up a little.

It just shows with PMO today that markets are currently not pricing in anything other than factual information from trade updates.

We have factual improvement in both production being at record highs and Brent over $70 (Remember Moodys note from last year ?)

We also have factual evidence (From Enquest themselves) that there is material improvement in performance at Kraken.

All yet to be factored into the current share price leaving plenty of room for upside. (In my opinion)

I was watching that. TLW also starting to move well. What is it with ENQ. 2h chart looks like price should be roaring up now, but it's not. Be good to break above 20.6 today.

16 May EnQuest Plc Numis Under Review 20.05 - - Under Review

Numis rating has been under review since the other brokers downgraded ENQ earlier in 2019.

I would guess they are awaiting next weeks operational update for further guidance.

Todays Premier Oil update was good. I would think ENQ will be good as well :-)

You'd imagine so if what we think we know is real. 2 hour chart suggests the rise has started, but price has really struggled to break to the upside so far. My money is on up. I think PMO rise was quite muted as well. I actually think that those interested will get an opportunity to buy at under 91 p in the near future.
