18/7/2002 17:12 | HA na they are still in the nest SAV | oioisavaloy
18/7/2002 07:30 | Good morning all. I hope the golden eggs have not been stolen. | hyper al
17/7/2002 16:41 | Ladron If we had some news today, I think they would have rocketed. | hyper al
17/7/2002 09:08 | I would not get over concerned about the lack of news, although it does get a bit boring as an investor. I think EIT are just being very cautious about news releases after the false Floor Decor order. Regards Hyper Al | hyper al
17/7/2002 08:53 | fegga Yes I agree that if news were released now it would have absolutely no effect. Could be that they have a repeat order from Chubb but have not announced it. Better than the building society ? I keep telling myself that , but with less conviction as the days go by !.....Ladron | ladron
17/7/2002 08:49 | The 200k of trades would normally have an impact on the price, but they did not, can anyone explain why? If it was a sell, then the MM will have more stock to play with on the next rise, which I consider good news for holders and the MM's Regards Hyper Al | hyper al
17/7/2002 07:48 | Another day, hope it's better than yesterday. | hyper al
16/7/2002 23:29 | fegga 100% agree, lets just wait, although todays trades suggest something is happening, or is it someone just takeing a little profit (although the price did not go down) | hyper al
16/7/2002 10:01 | HA, Nope, none at all, I wonder if we should do the double e-mail again to EIT - two days later NEWS !!! I cannot see how Chubb building a control room and pushing the V2 can have many of the 1000 stock left... Just have to sit it out and wait... Regards SAV | oioisavaloy
16/7/2002 09:12 | oioisavaloy Another day and still no news! | hyper al
15/7/2002 14:00 | HA One in the nest SAV | oioisavaloy
15/7/2002 13:13 | oioisavaloy Not much sun, but had a great time visiting castles and towns, the kids also enjoyed it, so it all went well. Had some very nice cider (1.2 euros per litre), but could not find a good French wine for under 8 euros. The French wine in UK supermarkets appears to be better than anything in France, they must export all the best. Did not see any Eagles on my Holiday, but hope to see this Eagle fly soon! 15/7/2002 11:58 | AL at 8.23 that information was correct, someone may be testing the water for a sell. From FT Investor Make waves with Minorplanet Minorplanet Systems may sound like a small company but its growth potential is seriously big. The group makes satellite-based fleet management systems which help firms that run teams of window cleaners, electricians and the like to save time and money by keeping tabs on their drivers. It may be the world leader in tracking systems for short-haul cars and trucks but its kit is installed in just 75,000 of the 50m such commercial vehicles that are on the road in its main markets (hence the big potential). Sales have held up despite economic uncertainty but the shares have suffered recently because of accounting worries. Some fund managers have been scared off because Minorplanet recognises the full amount it expects to get from its five-year equipment leases as revenue upfront, thus increasing the non-payment risk on its books. However, the company actually sells most of its leases to banks on a non-recourse basis - just 12pc of sales are from leases it takes on itself. This does away with non-payment risk and means that the group gets most of its cash upfront. At 117.5 this week, down from a high of 912.5p in 2000, the shares are trading on just 11 times forecast earnings and looking cheap for a company with so much room for growth. Post-Enron and WorldCom the City is terrified about accounting methods, but in Minorplanet's case, any such concerns seem overdone. If you are still brave enough to bet on technology, this is one risk worth taking. | hairyscouse
15/7/2002 09:10 | Well Good morning Hyper, Welcome back, Hows tricks mate, wot was the french coast like? Did anyone see the TV coverage I was on about last week? regards SAV | oioisavaloy
15/7/2002 08:37 | Hairyscouse Anyone can post on this thread, but if you do, can you please get your facts right MPS down EIT no change Regards Hyper Al | hyper al
15/7/2002 08:23 | Sorry bores, ups I mean boys, I am not Lilly. I will stay with you on this board as I was invited so don't think I will be slipping away. MPS up EE down today. HS | hairyscouse
15/7/2002 07:17 | GOOD MORNING ALL EAGLE WATCHERS. Can't be much longer before the Eagle soars. | hyper al
13/7/2002 19:07 | Well Hyper Al is back! Had a great holiday. Must admit I expected the price to be up on my return, but no worries, things will only get better from these levels. | hyper al
12/7/2002 17:57 | wobble - yes, well done, I had detected that vaguely reminiscent smell of cheapness that surrounded Lilly - the identical poor puns, the same sleepy comments that caused us all to yawn so much before, the same lack of real knowledge(oh yes, indeed I have heard of IG Index - indeed I have a credit account with them and of course IG has a market cap. minimum of £20m - as I said before!). Lilly's Daddy used to let him/her have some pocket money every so often - sufficient to buy one or two shares occasionally (and I mean one or two!) or even to pay for some internet access time to join the grown ups on the BBs! fegga - yes, room for MPS and EIT of course, but EIT will prove to be the more soundly based over time - mark my words, a real David & Goliath match. Kind regards SAMUEL 1 | samuel 1
11/7/2002 20:54 | Sam 1, You will find Hairyscouse is AKA Lillythepink a sad plank with too much time on their hands, also said they bought into MPS @ £3.20 I think NJP may recall our (Lillythepink & myself) banter at the time, check post 251 of 521 and previous, on your old thread to see the remarkable similarities or better still just forget the loser. Have a look at the Hairytarts share price today............... Wobble. | wobblechops
11/7/2002 17:40 | Sam Mule, I don't have to make a fool of YOU, you seem to manage all on your own! Please answer my post around 10.30pm as I need something to send me off to sleep. By the way I paid £1.12 for my MPS shares, what did you buy your EE stock at?? AS for shorting EE, ever heard of IG index???? Do you have a red nose, baggy check suit and a large sunflower in the lapel by any chance?? HS Yawn!!!!!!!!!! | hairyscouse
11/7/2002 17:07 | NJP - interesting idea but since MPS fell ANOTHER 9% today I suspect that Hairyscouse will be in denial for a while(and I don't want to make a bigger fool of him since he is obviously rather new to the stock market and thinks there is a way to short a stock with a market cap. under £20m!). Best he spends some time actually learning about trades, telematics, accounts and so forth - then perhaps even some of the people on the MPS BB will take him seriously! Kind regards SAMUEL 1 PS Yes interims and announcements soon hopefully - lots of positive things ahead for EIT. | samuel 1
11/7/2002 16:16 | Good afternoon Wobble and all EIT'ers Just to let you know there is a bit on EIT tonight after the six and ten o'clock news on ITV program is called "London Survival" don't miss it Regards SAV | oioisavaloy |
