27/5/2002 07:03 | Good morning all, including the Eagle! Hope you all had a good weekend. Hyper Al | hyper al
27/5/2002 00:28 | Morning Hyper, Hairyscouse DYOR then come back and ask questions, I have seen the units in operation and the pace of the project is gaining in momentum.. Its no good me telling you all about it until you research the company, as hyper says their web site is good as you have seen, but, no current news. May I suggest you click on all the links Hyper and myself have posted as a start. Hyper there is one in the nest.... Regards SAV. | oioisavaloy
26/5/2002 09:56 | Thank you all for you comments, It would be nice to talk to an end user who has had the system a year to hear their pro's and con's. I would call the company but the last time I did that, I was treated with suspision. I don't think companies like you poking your nose around their customers. I know they have two case studies on their web site. However I can not immagine any company putting and customer foward who has had problems. I a know someone who lost their shirt in the mid 90's on a ofex company called Skynet. At the time they looked as if they were going to clean up. However it all ended in disaster. I had a very near escape then and take time to do research now. HS | hairyscouse
26/5/2002 09:08 | Hairyscouse I suggest you read the RNS news releases for EIT. The RNS news on 17 May announced a contract for 6,000 units, as they had some of these in stock they will get immediate payment, which will be more than enough to keep them going, as they say in the same news release. "The initial shipments for this order will be supplied from currently held stock. As a result of this order, and other ongoing business, the Board would also like to clarify that it has sufficient working capital to meet its current needs." Be warned the telematics business is very competitive, so you will always get people like Lillythepink posting on BB threads connected with telematics, it has more than likely got shares in another telematics company. It is best if you do your own reseach, look at the company websites, look at the fundamentals and official news. Remember that a company the size of Chubb would not deal with EIT if it did not think EIT could produce good working solid units on time. In my mind Chubb has done the research for me, that is why I purchased. Lillythepink I'm a web developer, nothing to do with EIT, although they do have an excellent website! The only facts you should get from a BB are those which are in the public domain (websites or RNS news/reports) or from people using the product/service produced by the company. All other information on BB's is just rumour or gossip. Nothing wrong with a good chat what else can you do between the news, we don't spread gossip or rumour on this thread not like many others. Which shares do you hold? Regards Hyper Al | hyper al
25/5/2002 16:36 | Hairy, I can tell you will get no facts from this BB. The people who post on this board I think work for Eagle Eye and try to Ramp the stock. Just read back at the childish back slapping they post. I tried like you to get some info, but was met by a wall of gibberish. I pop back every few week to have a laugh at their ravings. Hello Boys, Share still at 30p something is it. Funny you were all saying it would be £1 plus a few weeks back. Well at least you are consistantly wrong. Lilly in the real world. | lillythepink
25/5/2002 15:22 | Hi All, I do not hold any shares in Eagle Eye. I am looking to invest in the telematics market. I have been trying to gather some info on all the telematics companies. There was a post on a BB that claims EE are short of funds. They will need money to fund the new orders they have. If they are going to raise cash by a placing, this would have an adverse affect on the share price. Does anyone know how many systems they have sold to date. Has anyone had contact with a user to see if they are happy. Again there were a few people I met at Tipcon last year, that expressed doubts over the EE system. Can they cope with installing 1000's. What if there is a problem, do they have the resources to put it right without losing the order? Any views, comments or factual information please. HS | hairyscouse

25/5/2002 08:43 | I believe market expectations for EIT are 6.9 mil turnover for the year end, so we still need another 4.9 mil in the next 6 months, fingers crossed, feeling it is possiable at the moment, just. Im on hoilday for the next two weeks, trust you'll all look after the egg, speak when I return. I'LL BE CRACK............... Wobble. | wobblechops
25/5/2002 07:42 | Hi SAV, Re most 465: Road Runner have just over 60 so that's 6% of the Chubb order gone and I assume that Cabwatch will be selling in Bradford and Leicester, but don't have any info for these towns, does anyone else? I'm not sure if it is worth atempting to count every sale of CabWatch, I'm sure a new order from Chubb can't be far away. Lets just wait and see. The Eagle is watching Regards Hyper Al | hyper al
24/5/2002 20:53 | Evening all, No movement today, the eagle is keeping those golden eggs warm.... More hatching soon I'm sure of that. Hyper there is one in the nest..... Have a good weekend Any result on post 465? SAV | oioisavaloy
24/5/2002 19:27 | morose You have the weekend to clean the windows and birdhouse, if your lucky it could be a wet weekend, so you may escape that job! Regards Hyper Al | hyper al
24/5/2002 13:14 | morose Are you certain it's the Eagle? as it appears to be in the nest. | hyper al
24/5/2002 12:25 | I think EIT should publish their press releases on this site (intelligent transportation systems (ITS)), could help generate more sales in America. | hyper al
24/5/2002 09:57 | The eagle's about - my windows and birdhouse are covered in lime today daren't leave the car in the drive | morose
24/5/2002 07:54 | Sav, u da man, good find. Morning all EITers. Wobble. | wobblechops
24/5/2002 07:12 | SAV Can't find any info on Road Runner except their contact details Do you know how many taxis they have? Regards Hyper Al | hyper al
24/5/2002 06:34 | Morning Hyper, Wobble and all EIT'ers Now the question to ponder today is: When are Chubb going to buy more devices?(VCG2) My view is that it must be near as the whole fleet of Roadrunner taxis were fitted with it in Croydon,(see post 140) did this come from CHUBB stock or not? So lets go to it, find out, and see if the eagle is about to lay again.......... Regards SAV | oioisavaloy
23/5/2002 23:58 | Great find sav, looks like EIT will be laying some golden eggs in the near future. Good Luck everyone. | stuart70
23/5/2002 23:46 | Well done SAV. How long will it be before Chubb needs to place another order with EIT? | hyper al |
