31/1/2018 19:37 | Ah, my alter ego with the extra s in the name, has reappeared. Fresh from the scam that is LION. If you feel the need to follow me about, and recycle my posts, I'm obviously getting to you. Excellent! | honestmarty
31/1/2018 18:49 | Can anyone find examples of actually case histories? Apparently about 95% of natural gas wells in the U.S are currently fracked!!! Why did our's come as such a big shock and price fall??? Flows before and after fracks? This fall is based on a lack of understanding of the extraction process, it presents a rare opportunity. | honestmarty
31/1/2018 18:47 | "Tight Sands. Tight sands are gas-bearing, fine-grained sandstones or carbonates with a low permeability. Unless natural fractures are present, almost all tight sand reservoirs require hydraulic fracturing to release gas." A frac was probably always on the cards here. If the bloody Aussies, had only had the sense to state than a fracking operation would be needed from the start, what would the price be? This is still alive and kicking, A vertical frack is a routine practice, over 1.4 million have been carried out since they were fist introduced to open up Texan sandstone gas reservoirs. These fracks are cheap and usually take just a few days. Bloody Aussies | honestmarty
31/1/2018 18:37 | The well is now connected and has begun producing gas at about 140 MCFD into a pipeline while further testing and production enhancement options are being considered for the well. The joint venture is considering the best options to improve production from the tested sands, which may include fracture stimulation operations. The above from PCL the JVP with most credibility does not sound like a ball tearer to me nor the largest conventional discovery in the world in recent times does it no testing anytime soon placing ahoy read the financials enjoy | brimsley

31/1/2018 13:59 | Jem, Further to my post yesterday Raven Energy ( PCL partner in "Gasfields LLC " who are one of three partners drilling Tulainyo ) has now moved from trading halt to official suspension pending an announcement to the ASX on completion of financing, probably tomorrow. Bodes well for Tulainyo 2 well & hence Alvares? | safiande
31/1/2018 12:24 | PCL look in good shape, Namibia looks interesting. I've got a couple of avenues of research in Namibia too. Anyone hold any? I use HL but I think it's IG that deals with asx for UK, might have a look at that. | cmackay
31/1/2018 11:55 | Good point showme, better safe than dead with a thermal vest. Toon, I offered the resident enjoyment consultant a day or 2 of work to do my tax return but no joy, I'm not sure of his work ethic ;) Seagreen, nobody said it has to make sense. He isn't known for cohesion. Does anyone else read his posts in an exaggerated Oz accent? I enjoy his posts a lot more when I do this, it makes the part 'placing ahoy' most enjoyable. | cmackay
31/1/2018 11:53 | PCL quarterly report (Jan 18) linked below - seems quite upbeat on the California projects. | kevjames
31/1/2018 11:39 | I mean you issue options at 17p to an executive and then do a placing at 8p....clearly should go back to playing with his dolls house | seagreen
31/1/2018 11:38 | He is certainly the bigest tool on ADVFN | seagreen
31/1/2018 11:35 | cmackay. get brimsley to do it he is an expert on everything else. :) | thetoonarmy2
31/1/2018 11:23 | cmackey. Get a fire installer to do it. If the flue leaks, you might be asleep, for a very long time. | showme01
31/1/2018 11:21 | Nice to get some updates from ASX, seems to be going ok but taking a bit of time as is normal and expected. O/t does anyone know the best tool to cut a chimney flue to size for a wood stove burner? | cmackay
31/1/2018 10:31 | Thanks Saf. Tulainyo bodes well for Alvares. From SGC earlier today... "Alvares Natural Gas Project – Appraisal stage (SGC 39% WI) The Alvares natural gas project is located close to large natural gas pipelines and on trend 35 miles from the similarly structured, and recently drilled Tulainyo Project Sacgasco’s Alvares project contains a total (100%) recoverable unrisked prospective gas resource on a best estimate deterministic basis of approximately 2.4 Tcf (400 million boe). Planning is proceeding for the Alvares well bore to be assessed for its suitability as the basis for drilling a side-track as a cost-effective way of evaluating the prospectively of extensive high-pressure gas shows discovered while drilling for oil in 1982. The upper 500 metres thick interval of the best gas shows were not previously evaluated due to logging difficulties related to high pressure gas influx." | jemjem
31/1/2018 10:25 | Maltby. Cheers mate. I love i3e. There is still,so much value there and todays announcement confirms it regardless of a placing where the price was a week ago.EME and i3e are the 2 shares for 2018 for me. Both possible 10 multiples. | showme01
31/1/2018 10:10 | Fairly quiet here so slightly off topic congratulations to Showme for picking up so many I3E shares via his GWIK holding. I had an interest via PRS and bought a few more in November. I would have bought more but it was so undervalued I thought the story was too good to be true. Clearly not!Our turn next !! | maltby2002
31/1/2018 09:53 | From PCL today. Tulainyo is on trend with Alvares. "Progress has been made evaluating the well, in particular the wireline logs. As more information has become available, Pancontinental has grown more confident that the entire section of interest is gas saturated and there are sandstone reservoirs of sufficient quality to support commercial scale flows of natural gas. The intended testing programme, which is expected to commence within February will assess these theories and may find Tulainyo 2-7 to be the play opening well the joint ventures believes it to be." | safiande |
