30/1/2018 14:07 | Look at the track record of Indus what a crock CoSecs are a dime a dozen in Perth enjoy | brimsley
30/1/2018 14:07 | Gaz Bisht is a geologist so why another? | showme01
30/1/2018 13:53 | I am surprised at the reaction here to the award of options to the Company Secretary, I suspect he does quite a bit more than attend a few meetings and sign a few documents, with California, Indonesia and in particular China to go at he should be busy. I would say that often the Company Secretary's role is often combined with the Finance Directors but perhaps more to it in this case, anyway the strike price is 17p that's 5p more than todays and he cannot action for a year so he will need to buy them, lets hope he trebles his strike price, its 0.625% of the share capital. Perhaps more to come with a geologist yet to be named, now that's out of the way we may get some updates. | stewart4900
30/1/2018 13:18 | Perhaps its his connections TK is after? | petercrosby
30/1/2018 12:54 | 2,500,000 shares for attending a few meetings and signing a few documents Great job if you can get one Are they mates? At least it’s at a half reasonable strike price | judijudi
30/1/2018 12:49 | Thanks Maltby. Clearly he doesn't need to be formally announced then. | jemjem
30/1/2018 12:35 | Yes the new Company secretary was introduced at the AGM and came to the pub afterwards, an Aussie as you would expect! | maltby2002
30/1/2018 12:03 | Toon, as you are mates again with TK, any chance you could put in a good word for me? EME chauffeur when in London. £300 a day and let's say 1,500,000 options at 17p? | showme01
30/1/2018 11:58 | Jemjem. I agree totally why give a part time Co Sec any options, if he isn't any good kick him out that's the only incentive he needs or should get. Hope this isn't the restart of the previous options nonsense of a few years ago Christ he will want to give Cross some options for being a dozy old sod next. | thetoonarmy2
30/1/2018 11:55 | With an incentive like that he must be a surfer or is also in charge of the Cupcake and tea making facility. Important to incentify this position ! Now that that RNS is out of the way I'm looking forward to the much anticipated asset update RNS's GLA HT | hang ten
30/1/2018 11:49 | So long as Cross doesn't get any options, I'm happy. | showme01
30/1/2018 11:45 | Certain to be, showme, John is still around, I think. As is our beloved leader - Dr Cross :-) | jemjem
30/1/2018 11:42 | Jemjem, wonder if his interests are surfing and fishing 😀😀 | showme01
30/1/2018 11:39 | That's true showme - but it beats me why a Company Secretary needs to be "incentivised". If he doesn't do the (admin) job properly, then boot him out and get someone who can. Seems pretty straight forward to me. Imo | jemjem

30/1/2018 11:33 | Well that will be a very happy company secretary if we get to £1 a share. £2m for doing a £30k a year job. | showme01
30/1/2018 11:28 | Well, I must be getting a bit out of touch, or very senile. (Probably both). Mr Whyte was appointed on 15th August 2017 - the same day Amanda resigned. Not that it matters, but I thought a change of Officer had to be announced by RNS? Maybe that's not the case for Co Secretary, but other companies do it and I assumed it was a requirement. Perhaps he got introduced at the AGM? Hey ho. Back to sleep. | jemjem
30/1/2018 10:54 | As per Stewarts' post above : Grant of Options and PDMR Notification Empyrean Energy plc (EME: AIM) ("Empyrean" or the "Company"), the oil and gas development company with interests in China, Indonesia and the United States, advises that, on 30 January 2018, the board resolved to issue incentive options in respect of 2,500,000 Ordinary Shares of 0.2 pence in the Company (the "Ordinary Shares") to the Company Secretary, Mr Jonathan Whyte (the "Options"). | bushman1
30/1/2018 10:52 | I like that RNS options for 2500000 shares at 17p a ahare, a 40% premium to todays price, I think they will know slightly more than us. | stewart4900
30/1/2018 10:51 | Not fair at all... it's easy for them. Fat cat directors... | ch4p_85
30/1/2018 10:50 | fair play, 17p | currypasty
