Exactly Tarz, you must be a tight wad like me, hate paying through the nose for something you can do for yourself!!

Mark that is what i keep doing lol.

Another option for a bed and isa is the diy option, though you need cash to do it. Put the cash in the isa and buy the shares. Some time later(days/weeks/months??) sell the shares in your regular account at a premium to what you paid in your isa. You have to be confident that the price is going in the right direction and you are obviously taking on risk. I went down this route but I'm so reluctant to sell the extra 260,000 shares that I now own, I think it may be after the Pearl River Basin outcome before I complete the bed and isa, hahaha.

I would use Brimsleys Bank plc. Apparently they will routinely sell for you at a higher price than they buy them back for you.

I don't think the actual fraccing takes very long (a day?), lead time getting everything on site and booked in will take some organising though, but SGC must be very keen to get on.

A fracced well can increase flow by up to 30 times

nithbank,

I use Lloyds stock broking you can sign up online through Lloyds Direct Investments, I was going to use Redmayne Bentley but as my shares are with Lloyds I used them

nithbank,

I transferred some last week 150K and it cost me £60, you need a new broker at that price, they don't need to use the advertised spread. I will be transferring a second 150K hopefully this week into wife's Isa.

Terry,

I agree the share price won't double but I can see perhaps a 3p gain on that permit being issued.

I should know this but is the current 1p spread abnormally large? I need to transfer to an ISA and my broker is warning me of an instant hit of over £1000 if I sell and buy back.

Of course it won't double the share price, no point getting unnecessarily rampy about it. It won't however do the share price any harm imo.

Looking at the pattern of dates upon which wst permits are issued, I would be willing to wager a pint of stout, a packet of crisps and a tub of Vick's that tomorrow we could see the next batch of them.
