Stopping investors from buying into the company…that’s the biggest LOL of 2024, and believe me there have been a few whoppers.

A successful drilling campaign at Wilson could literally be a game changer and far exceed the value of any sale in our 8.5% of Duyung imo.

As I understand it the purpose of nominees is either to conceal the identity of a large shareholder or to reduce administration by acting for multiple shareholders.

If it is the latter which I believe is more common, I would think that on important votes individual shareholders would be able express their own preference. That being the case then a Nortrust vote isn't a block vote.

Also, in any vote, all the other minority shareholders including ourselves have the opportunity to have a say. The minority shareholders together hold the majority of the 2.55 billion shares in issue. Nortrust currently have 6.2 % of the shares. So even if it was a block vote others would have the opportunity to resist their will, whatever that might be, should they wish to do so.

Lowsulphur - suggesting the possibility of a dividend payout from Mako ought not to deter new shareholders. Clearly if Nortrust were to be recommending such a proposal to their client or clients they must see profit in it. The latest new shares purchased via Nortrust were at 0.1 pence and the current price is even less than that.

Does anyone care to estimate what the payout on each share would be if Mako was sold, debts settled and the balance proceeds divided between shareholders?

What’s negative about that comment?
It started with a fact and ended in a optimistic hypothesis
Oh and NO to you’re request

Hi Judijudi will you stop putting negative comments on this BB you are stopping investors to buy shares in the company and your negative comments are not helping to move the price upwards.

SP now at an all time low 🤢🤮
I wonder if Nortrust are still buying?
They only have to spend another £40kish and they have more shares than our shower combined
Wonder what their plan is and what’s attracted them to EME?
I can only presume it’s to try and force through a divi on any Mako sale 🤞🤞

Conrad gone very quiet again. They have really messed up big time with timescales and yet again another year goes by without farm out and FID. Outside their direct control but they must have had some pointers to likely process and outcome from sale process by now!

Glad to see a few are finally starting to see the potential, it is only a matter of short time before the share price reflects the opportunity for investors to multi bag their entry point.

Once the placing fee shares are gone they are gone, most of the 130m or so of these have been taken already.

EME current m/cap just £2.5m.

JJ, please keep this positively up. 😃

It was written on LSE but no reference.

It's not without risk but considering the outlay v potential, it could be a game changer.

Very well written 👏👏
But it’s not been confirmed that we are involved yet has it?
And I wouldn’t say the risk is minimal and I wouldn’t call the estimated barrels in place a major discovery or a huge reserve
All in all a very good write up though for a project we may get involved in
Who wrote that?

With just £950,000 to drill the well, the opportunity for the company to get in on a game-changing oil prospect is immense. The rest of the drilling cost is covered by JV partners, so the company can tap into this massive opportunity without having to stretch its finances.

Key Points:

1. Incredible Low-Cost Exploration:

• For just £950,000, the company has the chance to drill into the potential of a major oil discovery. This is a relatively small price to pay for access to a potentially huge reserve.

2. 40% CoS—A Real Shot at Success:

• With a 40% chance of success, this is a highly promising prospect. In oil exploration, this is an excellent probability—most companies would jump at this chance to get in early.

3. Unbelievable Upside Potential:

• If the well hits, we’re talking about potentially millions of barrels of oil with the mean estimate of 21.3 MMBOE—and that’s not even factoring in the 50% recovery factor from nearby fields. The reward could be monumental!

4. Minimal Risk, Maximum Return:

• With JV partners covering the bulk of costs, the company only risks £950,000 to unlock a massive oil find. If successful, the potential to transform the company’s financials is astronomical. If it fails, the loss is minimal compared to the upside.

The Path to a Big Payday:

• After drilling, if the well confirms the presence of recoverable oil, the company can easily capitalize on this success through further funding or JV development deals, turning a small stake into potentially massive returns. The chance to increase market cap and attract major interest is unprecedented.

Conclusion:

This is a golden opportunity—a £950,000 investment for a shot at a high-reward oil discovery that could change the company forever. With minimal risk and huge upside potential, this is a potentially, life-changing moment for the company
