Nortust cannot sell 158,000,000 shares (and growing) on the open market
They are after a divi from Mako
imho

I mentioned 0.5p and should have qualified that would be hit with Wilson news i.e. drill plan and spud date.

Mako sale if that comes in, I think 1p easily achievable and Nortrust know that....hence their loading up at these levels.

Judijudi, nortrust would be in contact with management about companies assets and future plans even informal way before buying in.

0.5p easily with Mako sale and commercial first well with clear plan to develop their asset. End of Q1 imo

Empyrean Energy was notified on 3 December 2024 that Nortrust Nominees Limited now holds 158,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company, which represents approximately 6.2% of the issued share capital of the Company.

Personally I would like Nortrust to continue buying and todays price is very opportune for them. Maybe to get to 10%.

I'd be delighted with 0.5p as an exit price.

Personally I bought in for Wilson prospect and its development. Mako money after paying off 7-8m debt should be enough for few wells. First well will be quite important to decide if to develop that asset or not. It looks like Nortrust was brought in when discussions around Wilson asset firmed up. Looking forward to see/hear more on details of that new project. CEO will get 5% of EME if first well comes in commercial. Asset is located in Australia, which is another plus.
Lots should be revealed in upcoming presentation.

I do wonder why Nortrust are buying?
Surely they can only be buying for whenever Mako is monetised as I would have thought our other assets are all but worthless imho
They can’t be in it for Eagle or Sacramento and we’ve not got China anymore
So as I’ve said previously I hope they are building a stake to force TK to divi up any Mako left overs after paying off our debts

Maybe you have loaded up judi - if you have I can’t say I applaud your investment strategy of investing in companies that have a track record of failure and in ones in which you loathe management - each to their own though

For interest's sake, based on 158,000,000 shares, Nortrust have an average price of around 0.20p. Although I have averaged down many times over the years, I still need 1p to breakeven.I hope they stay loyal shareholders for the longterm.

quite simple the bottom of the market is NOT 0.1 of a penny, would you like some examples or are you capable of looking for company with smaller share prices...?

Unless you’ve been averaging down for years your holding must be effectively worthless - time to load up or move on?
