I think the 10p placings are too much in the past to be used as a marker. We are where we are now.To a degree it will depend on the timing. Who knows where we might be after the CPR? That said, if it's tomorrow, then I wouldn't expect 10p but equally it won't be below 8p. Eme don't do discounted placings and if any shorts are hoping to get out on the cheap, I suspect they will be very disappointed Imo

Just a thought guys this is the Chinese year of the pig which amongst other things symbolises luck good fortune and wealth. For those that believe in fate perhaps the delay in progressing our Chinese assets until this year was part of some grand plan. Its a nice thought anyway.Gla and a belated happy new year to all genuine Eme shareholders.

Excuse my ignorance but is it not the case with exploration company's to Identify a potential prospect, get a licence ,appraise and sell ! This doesn't happen on thin air, the early investors quite aware of this ! :) Yes the investor at this early stage is in for big risk/reward, AND understand - Cash burn, Losses etc etc ..AND who expects revenue from an exploration company at exploration stage ???!!! :) Revenue is expected on the sale of successful assetts which we will get before March with the sale of our Indonesian asset. School boy stuff ! makes me chuckle :)

Phone Conrad and tell them they have spent $10m's on worthless asset then. Any company is more than its current revenue streams and our assets here are top notch and worth lots of money which will be unlocked in next few months. Over and out no more discussion required...

whipsawtom, It's exactly as I've written. Perhaps if you had a little broader market knowledge, rather than the one share that you obsessively post about, then you might know a little more about such things. Once again, I would point out that this statement (that you've again repeated) is completely fallacious: "There is a minimum price that is set by the company and the timing is also at the total discretion of the company." *IF* the Company sets at minimum price that the death spiral provider doesn't like then *ZERO* stock is sold for that month. So in practice the Company has to collude with the death spiral provider to agree each month a price at which existing shareholders are going to be screwed over. JakNife

JakNife, Your example is of a convertible debenture with a $amount to be converted with no minimum or floor conversion rate. The culprits were found guilty of shorting the stock to manipulate a lower conversion price. As you say, SEC vs Rhino is a classic example of a "death spiral". Empyrean's facility with Longstate has no terms that are even remotely similar to a convertible debenture of this nature. For a start it's not convertible debt. There is a minimum price that is set by the company and the timing is also at the total discretion of the company. Empyrean's facility is merely a simple equity drawdown facility with plenty of "out" clauses for the investor - standard even in vanilla institutional capital raisings. Your actions are looking suspiciously like a "short and distort" trade. Knock yourself out - its been tried here by plenty before you - just be careful on the "distort" side of things because plenty are watching you closely.

KillerWolf, your point is fine for those that choose to be blissfully ignorant. But there are always participants on this board that want to analyse all information from all sources - which is also fine. All I am doing is stating facts and correcting misinformation. People can also choose to filter me if they do not find it helpful.
