21/3/2024 12:33 | Blueblood, We couldn´t trace the article dated 18 Mar you mentioned on Tues on the Duyung pipeline. The latest article on the WNTS is dated 28 February 2024, link below, where it is mentioned that a new pipeline is intended to be built from Singapore to transport Natuna gas. As we know Conrad ( CRD ) is currently finalising a separate DMO GSA at lower gas prices than the deal with Sembcorp, but which is subject to the construction of a spur pipeline to Indonesia by the Indo government. So far CRD has stated that they doubt whether such a pipeline will be built at least during the current licence period to 2037. As per the article part of this pipeline will be built by PGN who are the gas subsidiary of Pertamina, the national energy company. CRD appears to have a close business relationship with Pertamina as CRD has recently concluded a MOU with PNG for the Aceh discoveries. In fact Pertamina is probably one of the prime candidates for the Mako farm down, possibly up to as much as 49% or even 50% plus if Conrad is willing to relinguish operatorship.
