Nothing in the history of EME suggests that they will either a) have things worked out & be ready to act swiftly or b) entertain the notion of telling their shareholders what is going on.

Jemjem, let's hope you are right. I am sure that EME have everything worked out with COSL in advance to ensure the survey happens. We need a 4 day window.

The share price is very frustrating, but it will likely move northwards very quickly, either in anticipation of the calmer weather (thanks for your research), or if the Company put out a holding RNS to confirm the status of planning (personally I'm not convinced they will do this).

Delays happen, but I sincerely hope that the current delay is purely a weather related one.

I agree. There have been a few weather windows that showed promise - but they fizzled out quickly. Fingers crossed that this one holds. Big difference this time - the wind is forecast to drop considerably, which makes all the difference.

It seems some have gained an impression that there are dozens of surveys waiting to be done. There aren't.
I believe that a survey ship is ready and available, for us, when the weather window appears.

At long last, it would appear the weather is turning. Wind (a crucial factor in the swell) starts to drop to nothing in the next 3-4 days - it has been 20-25 knots for about 2 months. The swell is forecast to be negligible.
By this time next week Rodney...;-)

The stock with the never ending overhang.Seems that for nearly a month now someone has been 'offing' a minimum of a million shares a day.Usually a couple of hundreds early on then rest, let the share price grind back up a bit then 150/250 etc to hit the daily minimum.Could be a decision made completely separate to any success or failure of EME but the current ability to miss all dates & not even update shareholders is certainly contributing to the falling share price

Having completed the work commitment of GSA successfully, Empyrean signed the PSC for Block 29/11 with CNOOC in September 2018. The contract came into effect on 13 December 2018 with the first phase commitment being the drilling of one exploration well within a 2.5 year period.

Duyung PSC
The Duyung Production Sharing Contract (Duyung PSC) covers approximately 890 km2 in the Riau Islands province, situated in the offshore Indonesian waters of the Natuna Sea. It is close to the West Natuna Transportation System (WNTS), a natural gas pipeline connecting three producing blocks in Natuna Sea to Singapore. WNTS currently supplies approximately 0.4 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of natural gas per day to Singapore.

In June 2017, Conrad drilled the successful Mako South-1 exploration well, discovering the Mako gas field. The Duyung PSC was converted from the cost recovery scheme to the gross split scheme in early 2019 upon the agreement of Conrad and the Government of Indonesia.

The development plan for the Mako gas field (the POD), originally submitted in August 2018 and re-submitted under the gross split regime in January 2019, was approved by Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) in February 2019. In November 2019 the Company concluded another successful appraisal drilling campaign in the Mako gas field drilling the Tambak-1 and Tambak-2 wells. The wells flowed dry gas to surface through a drill stem test and discovered a thicker than expected sand package of high permeability, the best drilled to date in the field.

Having now drilled three wells around 17 kilometers apart maturing the Mako gas field and proving it is one continuous single tank of natural gas, the recoverable resources is currently being upgraded.
