Substantial Rerating Potential on Success – Exploration success at Jade would see our risked valuation of the Jade prospect increase from 11.4p currently, (88% overall risk) to an estimated 43.4p, a c3.8x increase. Success at Jade would also significantly de-risk both the adjacent Topaz and Pearl prospects. Unrisked (the point at which there is 0% risk) our valuation on the Pmean resources at Jade would increase to c96.4p. With all but one of the adjacent CNOOC discoveries “filled to spill” their recoverable resources are close to the P1/P10 oil in place volumes. Assuming a P10 oil in place volume for the Jade prospect increases our unrisked valuation from an estimated c96.4p to c.152.3p.

A few snippets..

Empyrean Energy Plc Fully Funded High Impact Drilling Empyrean has secured funding of £7.623m through an equity placing and convertible loan note issue, fully funding the cost of the Jade exploration well (on a dry hole basis), which is scheduled to be drilled in late December 2021. The Jade exploration well is one of most exciting offshore wells to be drilled by a junior oil and gas company in 2021, targeting mean oil in place volumes of 225mmbbls and a P10 in place upside of 395mmbbls. The Jade prospect is the first of three identified prospects within Block 29/11, with the three prospects having a combined mean in place volume of 884mmbbls and a P10 in place upside of 1,588mmbbls. Success as Jade would significantly de-risk the 659mmbbls of oil in place at the Topaz and Pearl prospects and lead to an estimated c3.8x increase in our risked valuation to 43.4p. Unrisked, we value the Pmean resources at Jade at c96.4p.

Up until this year EME fate always seemed to be dependent on the China drill. With the gradual proving up of the Duyong asset and with a much improved GSA expected in the NY this is no longer the case. At these levels EME is much more risk free than previously thought so expect a bit more punt money going in as the drilling becomes nearer. On an aside Begorrah has always been a wind up merchant so just filter him

Guys, c'mon. Do we really want to see potential new investors coming here to see petty bickering? If you want to address each other, can I suggest PM. This is going to be the most exciting time to hold EME that will be potentially life changing for quite a few. So long as TK doesn't send the balance of the drill to The Bank of Ghana this time, all is good. Let's embrace and enjoy rather than taking cheap swipes at each other.

Interesting to see angry posters are still disproportionately troubled by me.

It won't be because they are shocked to find out the share price didn't surge on the 'fantastic' news or that my cynicism has been proven to be a lot more accurate than their ramping.

Same old, same old at EME - btw - if I did want to buy any shares back I could do cheaper than I sold them much as I expected but posters on here would hear nothing of.

Out of interest your rage at won't be because you took up your warrants at twice the price lots of other people were allowed to buy their shares yesterday will it?

Eme went up when volume> 20 day sma volume

Example GGP of how volume Vs 20 day average volume works long term, 4bn shares. Dilution is not an issue. As long as the volume rule satisfied and newsflow is sustainable, building freebies means you always have fresh £ to plug in for future volume.

Same for ITM. volume rule works.

Any listed company needs 3 types of buyer

-cornerstones to tap for placings
-regular buyers (me)
-everyone else (Zak/malcy fans)

Once MMs identify easiest time to make market then price will go up when daily volume exceeds 20 day average volume. Hence why if average volume is eg, 3m, it's pointless getting everyone buying on one day because to go up next day you need to exceed average volume on that day too, and so on. That's not our job, MMs will move price accordingly to satisfy this volume rule. Look at any company going up in sustainable fashion you will see this volume rule in play.

Easy when you know how

Begorrah, you have said that you're a shareholder, well after that post I think you have just proved to everybody that you're a consummate deramper who has either never held or has sold everything and now just wants to see EME fail.
I'm not party to the loan note agreement so I don't know, but I would expect that the 4 million would easily be paid off if Jade is not commercial.if Duyung is worth in excess of $40mln we wouldn't need to sell much or we could still raise more funds to pay them off.

I just think he is a sad individual who has had better days. No happy successful person would commit so much time and energy to posting never ending negativity. Bit tragic really. Just hope I never end up like that. Lesson for all of us I think.

Why on earth are you still posting. Sorry to say it but you're getting a bit sad and tragic now. I know you think you're a bit funny but being continually negative and trying to rain continually on everyone's parade just smacks of a fella who's not got a lot in his life. Why don't you just cheer us all deluded LTHs up and give us a break from your enlightened superior font of all knowledge repetitive boring posts

Laz,One thing that we agree on is that the delay to financing was probably due to the 'the cheque is in the post' malarkey. Can't see many parties wanting to get into bed with a company that misplaces that sort of money.I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't contribute to the requirement for a first charge including Duyung.Out of interest if Jade is a duster does that mean that a realisation of the Duyung asset can be forced?

There is limited window for drilling in China sea due to weather/sea condition. This time is optimal otherwise have to wait another year. Hence the urgency.

Good price but didn't need to buy today (or in latest 2 weeks) and probably won't need to before drill result.

Mr Tom still keeping cool under pressure and tackling the issues for us head on. A true Captain!
