As I've already said I have significantly reduced my holding of late. I may buy back if & when TK deigns to tell anyone what is going on & I may get a real deal out of it. I accept I may also lose out on a cracking rerate if a rabbit is pulled out of a hat.The later this goes the less I see that as an outcome. All those potential funding options and it has come to this? Doesn't quite ring true for me but thanks for your concern.;-)

The longer it goes on without TK being able to arrange any financing package the more likely there will be a dilution so people sell with a view to buying their shares cheaper when it hits.Also, I think some people are asking themselves if they want to continue this journey with a CEO who has such scant regard for his shareholders & seems unable bring anything to a close.

We are all waiting on funding and Duyung, it must be soon in respect of both but until we get an RNS then were going no where.

I remain positive but its taking a long time on Duyung and with Jade its getting very close to spud date, as someone said its normal in the oil game always takes longer than you think, I'll go with Gaz Christmas day.

Laz,I did notice in one of your posts yesterday your first reference to possible January drill.I sincerely hope you have reason to be so confident about funding, over & above any unofficial 'trust me' type noises (obviously, goes without saying that that type of thing doesn't ever happen etc), I too have investments in company's with delays, those however, are being communicated in a timely manner. I have also had investments in company's in the past with significant echoes of what is happening here. Not one of those ended well.Out of interest, at what point would continued silence become of concern to you? Year end? That isn't being facetious it is a genuine question about how steely your resolve is.Cheers

begorrah, you know as well as most on here that an RNS has to be checked over to ensure it is not false or misleading. Therefore of course they have to put in the RNS that the drilling is subject to further funding being obtained, as to just say 'we're going to be drilling' would be misleading.

It's just like the 'going concern' statements for exploration companies which don't have any revenue and can only continue as a going concern by raising funds.

It wouldn't surprise me if there are a few delays to the fundraise which can be explained post not pre official rns announcing it. Almost every stock I am currently invested in is experiencing some form of delay, whether it's permits, contracts, approvals etc, so until Tom comes out with a statement that he was unable to raise funds, sit back, have a Guinness and just relax.

On the 11th of November EME said

'The drilling of the Jade Prospect remains subject to further funding being secured by the Company. The Company is currently in negotiations with potential counterparties and is aiming to finalise the necessary arrangements in the COMING WEEKS. Further updates in this regard and in relation to the Jade well drilling preparation and permitting activities will be made in due course.'

4 weeks have now come and gone without any update about the funding or permitting activities or even the survey that was due to happen '....as soon as there is a good weather window with low enough swell to safely and effectively complete the survey, as recent sea conditions at the well site have been poor.'

That first line is still the most important 'The drilling of the Jade Prospect remains subject to further funding being secured by the company'

With the CEO having gone into hiding & not even the courtesy of an update to the markets this has become a farce.

Even the staunchest TK supporters must have a raised eyebrow about they are being fed.

I will be contacting the NOMAD about why the market is not being informed - delays are nothing new in this sector & can be understood if explained but the absence of timely updates is not acceptable.
