19/11/2017 09:05 | Good Post KevJames, brimsley, you are an after caller 'I told you so' merchant. I challenged you to make a simple forecast and you ignored it. So much for your knowledge of EME's future. You have claimed in the past that news was out in Perth which proved to be a fabrication. At the first sign of a successful gas flow you will be gone from the bb never to return using the nickname 'brimsley'. You will of course change your nickname and become a ramper. Being on the right forecast is all that matters to your type. 'The well's lowest zone, a thin sand with poor reservoir characteristics based on the wireline logs, has been perforated and has flowed clean, dry natural gas and no water. The gas has flowed at rates that are sub-commercial at current gas market prices.' Here's a straight forward question to redeem yourself and use your claimed 40 years experience in the oil exploration industry to advise the BB:- If all the perforations flowed sub-commercial clean, dry natural gas and no water could they be linked together and lift production to commercial levels. Remember the first test was not commercial at todays prices. Throw an increase in the price of gas as well in to the mix and see what you come up with! We await your reply with interest! | harrissen

18/11/2017 18:02 | brimsley Point 4 of my post states that I know of no commercial gas flows in the Lagoda Boxer formations in the Scacremento area - however, they were never a primary gas target. Oil was the only target when they drilled the deep wells in the northern Sacremento basin years ago. Does that mean these formations are un-economic - no, however the gas will need to flow at commercial rates and the decline curve not too great. The point is that this is all new stuff for this area, so I guess we are all awaiting the results with great anticipation - it is game changing stuff if it is positive. If it doesn’t flow, there will plenty of experts to say “ I told you so” but unless you try you will never know! | kevjames
18/11/2017 17:38 | KevJames can you point to other production in the Boxer or Lagoda formations and advise the flowrates anywhere in the basin many thanks Harrisen you seem stressed hey its only money and you have learned a lesson about shouting the odds with no real understanding of gas plays or investing better luck next time | brimsley

18/11/2017 15:58 | Don't think we will get News Sunday night - 10am Monday morning Australia is 3pm Sunday Sacremento time. Recon more likely we will hear Tues as per this week. | dancingbear
18/11/2017 15:53 | Hi Tarz, Interesting that Sagasco have just tweeted this, they will look rather foolish now if the flows are not commercial, let's hope this is an indication that its positive news Sunday night. IMHO | stewart4800
18/11/2017 15:20 | Sacgasco just shared this article on twitter Empyrean update on Dempsey flow-testing 14 November 2017 | 08:03am StockMarketWire.com - Empyrean Energy said it had been informed by Sacgasco, the operator of the Dempsey 1-15 well in the Sacramento Basin, onshore California, that flow-testing and completion of the well is continuing as planned. Empyrean said the well's lowest zone, a thin sand with poor reservoir characteristics based on the wireline logs, had been perforated and has flowed clean, dry natural gas and no water. It said: 'The gas has flowed at rates that are sub-commercial at current gas market prices. 'However, analysis of this zone, and its full potential, remain at an early stage. 'The tested zone has been isolated and preparations are underway for the next stage of testing which will target the next shallower zone of gas shows.' Empyrean chief executive Tom Kelly said: 'Testing of Dempsey 1-15 is continuing in a safe and efficient manner. 'Whilst the lowest zone has been determined as "sub-commercial" at the current gas prices, we remain optimistic as to the potential of the Dempsey 1-15 well following the significant gas shows encountered whilst drilling and we look forward to seeing more encouraging results from further upcoming tests.' At 8:03am: [LON:EME] Empyrean Energy PLC share price was -5.13p at 16p | starzerus
18/11/2017 11:49 | Superb post, Kev, thank you for the time and effort in providing that perspective setter.I'd perhaps only add that a series of sub-commercial zones on their own do not necessarily mean a sub-commercial well. | terry hardacre
18/11/2017 11:38 | Brimsley, Harrissen is not AWOL, he is waiting for the result of the first perforation to flow gas in commercial quantities.. Not in any hurry, commercial quantities of gas will flow sooner or later either in one hit or linking all the non-commercial perforations in to one flow. To me this is the beginning of the journey that will lead to the mega bucks waiting to be extracted from the Far East acreages. You are an idiot who wants to be right with your tin pot forecasts. You are the type who will say you just bought in as soon as the gas starts to flow from a commercially successful perforation. I challenge you now to make a forecast that EME will not find commercial gas and will go under in the next six months! That is what you are saying in a roundabout way is it not?. Make it official now, then shut up ! | harrissen
18/11/2017 08:52 | Panzer yes I try not to think of those days Basher well lets look at the chart and consider who has been bashed and why shall we? Awol wud be Harrisen Control1 Toon Tidy all would be shot for desertion in another time | brimsley
17/11/2017 23:16 | Basher Brimsley appears to be running rings around this board. He's a short seller. His kids think he's a panel beater when he leaves the house with his hammer. If only they knew.... | milojim
17/11/2017 21:32 | I responded to a post with a flawed understanding of its context. I'm editing to announce Brimsley as a short holder by his own admission for anyone unaware. Read the RNs and know this is a medium term blow job contract. | cmackay

17/11/2017 16:58 | TG, I agree. the broker knows what the trade was meant to cover,a BUY or a SELL,as you say, what would be difficult with that,or would it open up a can of worms that we would be privy to the exact science of this confusion they leave behind with trades over the nms..gla,have a peacefull weekend | abergele

17/11/2017 16:38 | A lot of the early trades were sells showing as buys. I haven't bothered to look since then because sometimes it just gets too complicated - smoke and mirrors. I remember a while back that someone raised a petition to have all trades marked buy or sell to avoid the confusion of the current system. Unfortunately nothing happened. Have a nice weekend all and cross your fingers and toes for a very positive RNS from Sacgasco on Sunday evening. | the guardian
