03/11/2017 09:24 | stewart, that's not really common sense is it? people are positioning themselves for an outcome in the near future. No one knows the outcome, not brimsley not Strachen not anyone so at this point it is a gamble. | ![]() nametrade
03/11/2017 09:20 | Lots of small retail sells so far, clearly not read the Stachen reportIMHO DYOR | stewart4700
03/11/2017 09:02 | Crosseyed this is the link to the presentation from the AGM - it has now moved on the new EME website. It also says updated on it but i dont know if it is different than the one we saw - perhaps someonecouldlook it over and compare. Still it makes good reading while we are waiting for news next week. hxxp://www.empyreane | ![]() starzerus

03/11/2017 05:23 | This is the running order leading up to the perforation and flow testing of Dempsey. RNS Number : 2175V Empyrean Energy PLC 01 November 2017 Dempsey Gas Well Update - Completion Rig on Location "Safety testing of the equipment is on-going ahead of the perforation of the lowermost zones in the well for natural gas flow evaluation. Prior to this, a number of steps need to be taken including the cleaning out of the lower well bore; cement bond log run and evaluate for well bore protection integrity; and then the assembly and running of completion equipment and tubing conveyed perforating tools is required." (1) Cleaning out of the lower well bore. What does this entail? Here are explanations I found on Schlumberger Clean Out To remove wellbore-fill material such as sand, scale or organic materials, and other debris from the wellbore. Many reservoirs produce some sand or fines that may not be carried to surface in the produced fluid. Accumulations of fill material may eventually increase in concentration within the lower wellbore, possibly restricting production. Cleanouts using coiled tubing, snubbing or hydraulic work over techniques are performed routinely. (2) Cement Bond Log. What does running a Cement Bond Log mean? Cement bond tools measure the bond between casing and the cement placed in the annulus between the casing and the wellbore. The measurement is made by using acoustic sonic and ultrasonic tools. The measurements of industry-standard sonic tools are usually displayed on a cement bond log (CBL) in millivolt units, decibel attenuation, or both. Reduction of the reading in millivolts or an increase in the decibel attenuation is an indication of better-quality bonding of the cement behind the casing to the casing wall. ....... Running the cement bond log (CBL) should be the final operation before perforation for testing. That is only a matter of dropping a tool down to the bottom of the hole and testing the quality of the cement bond in the lower casing before penetration. All the equipment to carry out the above operations is already on site so I would guess we will be flowing testing by the middle to end of the coming week if everything goes according to plan and there are no setbacks. | harrissen
03/11/2017 00:18 | Neil, thank you I had not read that yet. It seems a reasonable parameter on which to lay the foundations of our expectations. I'm quite bullish on what's discussed, but only in a gypsy, ignorant faith based way. | ![]() cmackay

02/11/2017 20:38 | Been putting in big days at the boatyard so not following as closely, may I ask the source of the Chinese farm out news please? Sorry if I missed it in plain view. After a day on the angle grinder (I'm 5'6, 10 stone, not a manual worker for more than 3 weeks in my erstwhile 2 score) I'm well into a 4 can desperado and skunk dinner, so I'm going to say it, I think Deanroberthunt is the funniest person on advfn along with Harrissen and I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I've laughed uncontrollably at both of them on a number of occasions. I just typed the last 5-6 words of that sentence after a 10 minute pitch for an incredible sounding business, that's a normal thing, entrepreneurs should be venerated or at least understood. But yea, dhr and Harrissen should be welcomed with open arms. | ![]() cmackay

02/11/2017 18:29 | Why are you here? Are you classing yourself as one of these "bagholders" ? There are a couple of other EME boards that I am sure will welcome you with open arms. 02/11/2017 18:00 | flying? this has had its run the top was put in weeks ago look at the chart even the girlymen and rampers like Tidy2 have left the building bagholders only remain | brimsley
02/11/2017 13:29 | Based on the comments from the Strachen report I would have thought this would be flying, risked value 46.5p excluding success at Dempsey, could do with a couple of big buys , 2 x 1M should do it. Still unsure about those 4 x 250k trades over the last few days. Anyway roll on results of Dempsey testing and something on China and Indonesia would certainly help a breakout. | stewart4700
