Very upbeat RNS - what's not to like!!
Having a drill ready crew and rig should not be underestimated. These guys will know the area well and know exactly what the expected conditions and findings of the up coming drill will be. This experience is immensely valuable.

Almost surreal after such a long wait that we now have an actual spud date. Exciting but scary at the same time. Best of luck to all LTH and it could be quite a reunion in September at the AGM if all goes to plan

more than 2 weeks...testing was to take c. 2 weeks...no point in keeping a rig on the well if it's not doing anything...so high probability that the more than 2 weeks of it being sat there is because it was doing something more than demobilisation work...imho bwtfdik ;-)

Did Gaz not say that they had already reached TD on the 14th so the rig has been over the hole for at least 11 days minimum??

I think they found oil based on the number of days above the hole after reaching target depth.

Famous words - I would not want to be out of this over the weekend ha ha :)
