Bulgarian Real Estates Market Comes Back to Life


The real estates market in Bulgaria has been coming back to life during March and April, experts announced Thursday.

The prices had reached the psychological bottom of 700 to 1,000 Euros per square meter and cannot fall any further. The number of deal struck during the last two months is almost double as the one during the December to February period.

There is also movement on the mortgage market, as credits are being given to people who have 60% of the needed sum themselves. Buyers look mostly for high end and already constructed properties.

People from the estates branch commented that the global crisis had come to Bulgaria later than in other countries but at least in their sector there is already a movement out of it.

A further 9m held by major shareholders leaving c.11m up for grabs. 1m volume traded today, all of which are buys.
Deutsche Bank appear to be quitely offloading but these shares are being quickly snapped up.

so good chance of upturn in 1 or 2 of those

rgi is pinned simply on the Moscow property market.

so eee has better geographic risk (better spread)
