And all these new poster professing to know couldn't predict Christmas.

Let's face it you lot......all of you called this so so wrong as the thread shows.

The ESIA was and still is on a knife edge.

It is particularly pertinent to me that the director the making the purchase was Rupert Joy. He, more than anyone?, should be able to better judge the prospects for the company in collaboration with the Moroccan government. DYOR!

If potash is considered a "Strategic" mineral I do not see it unusual for the project to be referred to a national "Committee"

Just saying...

Director buys always an interesting one.

It's a common misconception that just because one is a Director you should have swathes of cash in the bank just looking to find a home for; to the contrary in my experience.

No-one wants to lose £5-10k and the notion that since you are a director this is pocket money is rubbish. They will genuinely believe no doubt.

For sure it has not been a great few days (understatement) but these buys and "confident re. ESIA" makes me think we do not have the full picture yet. Perhaps though we should as the comms are light and they have not been fully transparent for some time now........anyway lets see

Can see the share price building in anticipation of the ESIA being awarded. In a way, yesterday may have done us a favour chart wise, as it caused the high volume and resulting doji on the chart confirming the bottom going in. Otherwise we might have been dripping down for months!

Article also says "wider issues related to the project in particular its potential impact on local and neighbouring communities and businesses". What kind of businesses are potentially affected?

Came across a January 2023 article in mining weekly with the CEO saying "Our proposals, including specific revisions, are robust and I am cautiously optimistic they will be accepted".....thoughts?

Yeah I know and their target price hardly changed which is why I couldn't quite understand the huge mark down yesterday. Market makers must have had a field day.

I thought this was in the bag leading up to the conference in early May. I do wonder if behind the scenes chats with ministers at that event have led to the current situation - give it one more go with the local committee then punt it up to us if you get nowhere. And they have got nowhere for 2+ years at the local level.

If we recall the article which kicked off the last wave of speculation in April
"The Energy and Sustainable Development Ministry will soon issue an environment permit for the project, which will be executed by the UK-headquartered Emmerson Company, the Arabic language daily Hespress said."

Is the Energy and Sustainable Development Ministry the level we are now at?
Difficult to tell as previous EML RNS only said they were talking to the "relevant authorities"

Brokers Liberum see environment approval news as positive:

"We view this has a positive development, in that this Prime Minister-led body would not only be best placed to take into account national strategic considerations but should also able to act swiftly and decisively."

As I mentioned yesterday, investors might have been getting the bargain of the decade buying in the low 2s. Glad I doubled down and prepared to take the risk for potentially very high rewards. All rests on the ESIA now but it's much more likely to be approved now it's been elevated to the Ministerial Committee imo, and more quickly. Liberum took the same view too. EML mentioned here:hTTps://twitter.com/baroninvestment/status/1676923731698917377?s=46&t=_ybVnpe01AP_F1Pw0JqKTg

Looking back over the long term charts of 5 years plus since the IPO at 3p the shares have on just 3 occasions [including yesterday] been down to the low 2p's [circa 2p to 2.25p area] prior to bouncing strongly.

Additionally at yesterdays lows EML had become well O/S on all the technical indicators.
