More to the point jugger would be the first results from Agar which we will not see. The Agar website continues to show new products added and you can now create a cart and buy online. Direct sales to the end user are the most profitable.
Free from EKT management i expect Agar to do very well.
The next question is what will be sold off next to keep EKT solvent ? and will we see a big turnaround following Brexit ?
Most of the UK manufacturing is really benefiting from the weak exchange making UK products really competitive on the world stage.
Somehow i think Daley will turn this around and Brexit will be blamed for the poor performance of the Elektron brands like Checkit One presumes that checkit is being targeted globally and not just restricted to the home market?

Nice post pat, hartest was profitable, before KD got his hands on it, then no investment zero return, at this rate there will be one brand checkit, 5 plus years in the making and at least 4 plus millions in development, and still no major breakthrough, hope you are looking forward to half year results.

KeithHave a look at yday ftA column by John Lee he mentions gooch and housego and how the right acquisitions have seen the shares go from 100p to 1600p 13 years laterYou may say that's not a good return but our shares were 17p then so have fallen 60 pctHe mentions that one mustn't break fixed companies..take a read just in case you are looking at further acquisitions.I know the hartest takeover was a complete shambles but Jon Lee insight is invaluable

Pat, If i remember correctly, after Judith left us there was meaningful talk at least between me, Barry and yourself, because you were in constant contact with Barry on the phone and email every other day. If you felt it would have been too much to undertake Barry and others could have helped you through it. why then did you not take the bull by the horns and try to stop their ruthless selfish on going agenda. Why did you let the opportunity slip from your grasp. The main man, the man, with the most say with a larger share holder authority between us all, who could have brought them down period.., down for good!?

Yes you told everyone to get liquid, cash was king and you even sold your house and went into rented accommodation as the housing Market was about to crash as well as the stock market.
Face it pat, you called the markets wrong, your house sale wrong and now you have called EKT wrong so don't try and blame me :-) Barry most certainly does not, i was in contact will him only yesterday ;-)
