vicism, sort of I was playing pairs and started to follow others and turned my long lloyds into a short as every else was shorting it, stupid me got out of lloyds long for -2.5 looked at L2 it said going up and away but thought everyone knew something I didn't ;-(

Lemain - my comments were made in good faith after a number of conversations with several medic - colleagues involved in asthma research for major pharma.(one sits on the British Thoracic Scoiety) I stand by them as I am seeing what is going on in the asthma drug development pipeline and asthma research field first-hand. The CFC thing should have read CFC-free as this is now international law and has been for 5 years.
- I aint gonna argue anymore as there's loads of other stuff to talk about on this thread.

Why the jump in share price ? Trading outlook remains the same. Is it just because the dividend was increased ? What do do, still hold as they should go down, or get out ? Add this together with a Fed rate cut and these shares could go even higher !


Have most traders bought before results to get divi, then expect to sell off over the next few days/weeks.

cat - You actually said "...the long acting Beta2 negates the need for short acting Beta 2s like albuetrol/salbutamol(ventolin)....sales of these must be plummeting." My doctor friend said he'd be surprised if sales (of devices) were declining (let alone 'plummeting') judging from his prescribing. He also said that asthma is increasing, not decreasing as you suggested yesterday. I wouldn't want to base an investment decision on the experience of one friend and it is worth double-checking this. By the way, if you were talking about CFCs, it should be noted that practically all inhalers are CFC-free now but they still contain propellent and this has been the case for several years.
