23/8/2005 12:55 | UPDATE, dividend yields as quoted in Aug 19 IC p40 were... FTSE 100 = 3.18% FTSE 250 = 2.49% FTSE 350 = 3.09% PFL .... = 5.10% (9p dividend at 176.5p price) based on above data, ECM share prices required to equate these yields (ie, 18.4p ECM dividend divided by above yields) are... FTSE 100 = 579p FTSE 250 = 739p FTSE 350 = 595p PFL .... = 361p above share price difference over current ECM price of 265... FTSE 100 = 118% FTSE 250 = 179% FTSE 350 = 125% PFL ..... = 36% ie, for ECM to have the same yield as FTSE350 it would need to rise 125%, or 36% to have the same yield as PFL | botman begins
22/8/2005 15:44 | moving up nicely, 2.75p, just 36k sellers left on the order book | bot_man
22/8/2005 15:44 | would short if i knew how to - v little experience - just think the next 6-8 months is not the time to start or strengthen a position. | bellyboy2
22/8/2005 14:06 | bellyboy, put your money where your mouth is... if i thought that, i'd have a HUGE short position. as for we need some more sellers, only 60k left on the order book | bot_man
22/8/2005 11:29 | reminds me when merrill were saying SELL arcadia when they were bombed out at 20p. so its interesting that shares jumped 10p on an underperform rating | bot_man
22/8/2005 11:16 | ...perhaps because morgan stanly started coverage last week and came out with an underperform and 180 target. However price has moved up about 10p since they made their comments, looks to me that Institutions are still topping up, therefore I think 270 is the next target. | royaloak
22/8/2005 09:28 | I VERY MUCH DOUBT IT | bellyboy2
21/8/2005 13:27 | nice move up last week back above 260p, with trades on friday up to 276p. is this the big break out? | bot_man
11/8/2005 20:15 | botman, agree, and they seem very confident of being able to maintain this dividend! | royaloak
10/8/2005 15:34 | botman Yes it will dip below or creep above, but that range is still a pretty good indicator. At the moment it is back to 253 middle, as the general chart is up one day it may break into a new range say 253 support 260 resistance. In the short term I may be looking to sell if it cannot hold above 252. | royaloak
03/8/2005 13:53 | well it traded below 245 today and above 252 the other day | botman2
03/8/2005 13:49 | I said the other day, trading range around 245 to 252, still appears that way. | royaloak
03/8/2005 13:30 | humans really are funny creatures, full of fear and greed | botman2
03/8/2005 11:22 | why is share price going down then? | b0tman
02/8/2005 14:20 | net debt at 31/3/05 only £55.4m compared to market cap of £1.078bn (advfn above), ie 5.1%. | botman begins
02/8/2005 13:48 | and with july 15 trading statement "Overall Group sales have grown by 2.5%. " things presumably on track | botman begins |
