According to ADVFN trades marked today, 26,735 shares bought vs 5006 shares sold; result = share price marked down 2p ..... work that one out!

Just for the record, the 10,709 trade (at 93.34p) this morning was a buy rather than the sell (as recorded on ADVFN).

Looking at the charts, one would think we are either approaching or close to support level going back to February-March 2021 period.Getting very tempting to add some more.

A RNS next week might shed some light on those numerous 877k trades. With the price ticking up during the day, they clearly didn't have any adverse effect.

Could be a crossover - a volume like that would NORMALLY move the price but there appears to be no logic

Trying it on again yesterday; with a mere 13,807 shares sold overall plus narrowing their spread from 5p to 2p, the Market Manipulators conjured-up a 4.5p fall in the share price ..... easy when you know how!

According to [ADVFN] trades marked today, there were just 8,912 more shares sold than bought and the price is marked down 2.5p ..... you can either laugh or cry!

It's quite frustrating that the price was down yesterday when the only trades were buys, and now it's down again already this morning after a small sell.I think you're right though, I'm going to be sitting on my hands for the time being.

Big earnings downgrades, many investors follow the direction of earnings. We have seen this with other SaaS models but eventually the margin rebounds and growth is higher. During this period the shares may well continue to lack momentum as you need to take a longer term view.

Sometime's there appears to be no rhyme or reason to explain the actions of Market Manipulators; this morning, for instance, all recorded trades are buys yet the price is marked down 1p. With no further news anticipated before the New Year, short term holders (imo) are locking-in any profits so very little buying will be occurring hence the current price weakness.

With the last company announcement sounding optimistic, I'll be sitting on my hands meanwhile and, if the price drops much further, will add a few more.

What on earth is going on with the price dropping from 147 to 104 without any good or bad news?
All is quiet (on the surface) but can anybody explain what is happening?

It looks to me as tho' the two largest trades marked today (35k & 40k) were both immediately bought back at a minuscule uplift in their price ..... intriguing.

That depends upon your point of view. Lots of indiscriminate selling across the smallcap board - and ELCO's been hit since they disappointed with their 'soft' outlook.

I don't normally trade, but in this case I flogged a few recently and am thinking about topping up again at these levels,

On 15th September (the day following the Interim announcement), the company chairman purchased 39,363 shares @ 127p/share and a further 37,847 shares the next day @ 132p/share; that same day, the company CEO purchased 11,847 shares @ 126.5p/share.

With the share price having fallen since to 124p, either these two directors have money to waste or those shareholders selling now are unable to see beyond the end of their noses (imho)!

Top up for me today after the well overdone pullback, I can only hope others get tempted at these levels as well.....!
