12/10/2018 17:39 | Why are so many people buying shares so ignorant about the basics in financial statements and charts? Is it why they put a disclaimer saying 76% people lose money! CFD/spread betting or shares. If you haven't made any money in 9 months you probably never will on a share. | mrfixituk
12/10/2018 16:31 | The risk is already factored in the share price One of the best, if not THE best Nigerian oilers. | shallwe
12/10/2018 13:42 | Altman Z - 6.92 Benish m score indicates high risk of earnings manipulation. Recent big volume sell. Free cash flow to debt ratio -22. Broken uptrend. In Nigeria. Very risky company? | mrfixituk

20/9/2018 14:44 | Ubima appraisal is currently underway and on success a significant amount of contingent resources to be converted into recoverable reserves. Four wells are currently planned to develop the main reservoirs | mr.oz

19/9/2018 18:12 | also ai dont think things are taking so much to be done at least since i have been invested here (late 2017). This is Nigeria were things move slooooooow Compared to my previous (10 bagger) Nigeria investment, MMT Mart Resources on the TSX-V, these guys are speedy and classy as it can be. Actually I already said herr Eland is my new Mart, only vastlt improved... | cartonet
19/9/2018 18:08 | unfortunately I had a reply that he knows nothing about that, sorry. | adg

19/9/2018 17:45 | Agreed, cartonet. These wells are worth waiting for. | ray164
19/9/2018 13:33 | ray I dare tou to find any co out there growing production and cashflow qs quickly as Eland.... its not only what it takes to drill each well but how quickly it pays itself after that, in those terms ELA cant be beat | cartonet
19/9/2018 13:13 | I'm surprised they think it's speculative. Their production base is rock solid and they are drilling into known reservoirs to increase production. The political risk from saboteurs seems to have subsided. The only downside to these at the moment seems to be the length of time it takes to drill each well, which results in a lot of waiting for each increase in production. | ray164
19/9/2018 11:37 | Tipped in the Times today as a speculative buy | technocat
18/9/2018 14:08 | MMs finally letting it go into close. Good post from LSE: The Ubima presentation on the website suggests that there was some uncertainty with regards to the F7000 reservoir. * The F7000 reservoir, which contains light oil, lies at a depth of over 9,000 feet. The volume of oil currently ascribed to this interval is small. However, seismic data quality at this depth is poor and offset well data suggest the F7000 sands are not laterally continuous. There is therefore structural uncertainty and the potential for stratigraphic trapping. As a consequence, our confidence in the accuracy of the F7000 volumetric assessment is not high: there is significant, albeit unquantified, upside potential.” So today’s rns suggested the f7000 flow test produced up to 2500 bpd! I would say that’s a excellent result and will lead to a reserve upgrade. Ubima has up to 66mmbbls of contingent resource. Ffs, some tell the market makers! | genierub
18/9/2018 14:05 | All good information but time and time again we always buy or sell on non factual data. Factually today's RNS is a solid one for the company. Factually we know exactly 1 month ago the Broker rating placed ELA at 170p. Factually we know the trades all day have been very firm and stable. This is what share dealing is all about in my honest opinion. Sure its nice to jump on them big movers but slow and steady is great if you nab the right stock. Keep the research coming. | genierub
18/9/2018 13:39 | I have just sent a message to one of the guys I work with out there - will advise any reply | adg
18/9/2018 13:18 | ...adg, do you have, by chance, any insight into SRSP's mess, tia? | billyrayvalentine
18/9/2018 13:14 | I work with Nigerian oil & gas EPC's on a daily basic from here in the uk Have held from 31.5p (unfortunately only a £1k punt at the time) When they were at 130p a month or so ago I asked one of our project PE's in Lagos if they had heard of Eland and they had. Said that they had heard for the time being it is all good but there is a risk that 'history will repeat itself wrt the management' whatever that means..... they didn't elaborate Any ideas? | adg
18/9/2018 10:49 | 17-Aug-18 Canaccord Genuity Buy 170.00 Something tells me that we will edge up to the 170p broker rating from a month ago under the radar. Looking beautifully blue on the sheets. If anyone has been observing the trend through dummy sells/buys, the bid keeps rising in the background. Glad there is no herd latched onto this at the moment. Expecting some strong sessions ahead. | genierub
18/9/2018 09:11 | be interesting to know what other companies pump that volume of oil | wisecat2
18/9/2018 08:59 | Very mute across ADVFN and LSE for a very solid RNS.... One of the biggest oil producers on AIM. I think ill take a few. Trade sheet looks like it is building well. George Maxwell, CEO of Eland, commented: "We are delighted to announce the continued success of the Opuama drilling campaign with another well producing above expectation. Having achieved our previous production guidance, the addition of Opuama-11 production in the next month will take aggregate production from Opuama field above 30,000 bopd. This will be a record production milestone for the Company and the OML 40 Joint Venture partners and will confirm our position as one of the biggest oil producers on AIM, ensuring sustainable cashflow for further development of our assets and the refinancing and upscaling of our debt line. | genierub |
