02/2/2024 12:37 | I think they are a fairly unique company, have a nice type of client ie schools etc and now have ample funds to attract new clients. | parsons4
01/2/2024 23:30 | I think we are in good shape here.Sit tight and see what the new project looks like. | robsy2
01/2/2024 18:05 | Good bounce today. Hopefully shorters exiting as confirmation of deal and webinar detailing consequences and benefits (hopefully) approaches. Whatever the reason, a better day! | pcok
25/1/2024 14:59 | Although EAAS has been flagged as a short on some sites since 18 January, I wasn’t expecting such a strong sell off. A combination of profit taking and a probable news vacuum, until 07 February. I think we've seen the bottom of it now, more or less, though I’m sure they’d like to test the 50dma, before a gradual rise into the General Meeting. | toby hall
25/1/2024 07:34 | I suspect the real price action will happen once the deal is ratified by share holders and the eoy results are released. The price will push past 8p soon once the profit takers and market makers have had their fill. And then onwards to 10p post deal completion. I hope.. :) | hodluntilyouwobble
24/1/2024 17:22 | Well the news of a £30 mil sale seems to has really gone down well !! I thought share price would have been significantly higher, and now really not sure about this | lee181067
23/1/2024 11:13 | I bought in at 2.7p last year and sold 50% of holding at 6.0p a while ago but prior to the announcement of the EM sale. I will continue to hold the rest for the mid-long term though, but I’m surprised at the share price reaction over the last 2-days. Thought we would at least test 10p. I wonder if the market possibly assumes the proceeds will be squandered on growing ES. | brucethegoldfish
23/1/2024 09:49 | I suppose if you had bought a lot of stock at 3-5p and you are sat on big profits then you might just exit. There are plenty of cheap stocks about out there. | robsy2
23/1/2024 09:03 | Great news but the share price reaction has been disappointing. I suppose we need to see what the plan is going forwards. It has been a bumpy ride so far and despite big profits i feel a bit bruised by it all though i still think it is far too cheap to sell out at this level.A strong hold for me. | robsy2
22/1/2024 17:42 | They now have plenty of cash to expand, they are in the right sector at the right time. I am very happy to hold for the long term. | parsons4
22/1/2024 17:12 | Feels a little disappointing with share price following annoucement. I was hoping to see more + movement and as people quite rightly say, key to understand direction going forward | lee181067
22/1/2024 14:41 | Edison - "We note that the initial cash consideration (£25m) is similar to eEnergy’s current market cap (£26m at Friday’s close). We reiterate our 13p Fair Value estimate and will publish new forecasts post completion (General Meeting on 7th Feb)." | weatherman
22/1/2024 12:28 | "£30m Energy Management disposal to unlock growth potential" - new note from Equity Development with audio summary: eEnergy reported in early November that it had received a number of unsolicited approaches for its Energy Management (EM) division and that it had entered a period of exclusivity with one of the interested parties. An agreement has now been reached (subject to General Meeting) to dispose of the business to Flogas Britian Limited (a subsidiary of FTSE 100 constituent DCC plc). The initial consideration of £29.1m comprises £25.0m cash with the balance of £4.1m being used to repay amounts due from the Group to the EM division. The total initial consideration equates to an enterprise value of £30m after customary adjustments reflecting net debt and normalised working capital. Before factoring in the earnout, this represents an immediate return on the £23.4m invested in the division since December 2020, principally through the acquisitions of Beond and UtilityTeam. £25m net proceeds will eliminate debt and fund growth in Energy Services. Net proceeds will be used to pay down the Group's debt facilities of £8.1m, to reinvest in the high growth Energy Services division and for general working capital purposes. With significant balance sheet strength, the Group will now have the opportunity to invest further in the higher growth segments of Solar and EV Charging. See our initiation note for a detailed overview of Energy Services activities: Driving net zero through innovation and technology The Board expects trading for the period to 31st December ‘23 to be at the lower end of market expectations as a result of previous cash constraints, which have now been eliminated. We will publish new forecasts following the General Meeting (7th February) and completion of the disposal. | edmonda
22/1/2024 12:27 | 8th Feb investors meet webinar on the sale. Will be able to get more details and a Q&A so future direction should be a lot clearer. | pcok
22/1/2024 11:12 | The only downside I see is that Energy management is a higher margin business. | hatfullofsky
22/1/2024 11:10 | Year to 30/06/23 Services grew revenue 87% to $19.5m Management grew revenue 17% (organically by 5%) to £13.6m Intangibles are mainly goodwill and will reduce post disposal. NAV for Services is £6m - before disposal proceeds | hatfullofsky
22/1/2024 10:57 | Not to put a damper on things I have been trying to see what the company will be after the sale. The 2022 report seems to say that the growth was largely in the management and the booked future sales for 2023 21 million of 25 million was in the in Managemment. There is also a lot of Intangable assets so we need a better idea of how things are in the service side to judge exactly how much it is worth. Given that clearing debt and the loan takes the cash recieved down below 20 million and their are 400 million shares with allotments then they are getting less than 5p a share so share price really depends on what is left in the company. | controlledmadness |
