Wow! This is a game changer. If they sell the Energy Management division for 30m GBP, then that is a big deal for a company with a MCap of 14m.
If the deal goes through,it would leave us with the fast growing,non-capital constained Energy Services business which had sales of 20m and EBITDA of 2.3m GBP for the last 12 months.
The share price will pop today.

Luceco invests £1.75m at a 25% premium.
Plus potential £30m+ disposal. Mkt cap £14m!

Revenue is said to be vanity, their debts are growing and in the latest interview they spoke of needing to raise funds which they claimed "wouldn't necessarily be equity." but most likely would (my take on it).
Would like a reason to buy. Is there one?

A poor 3 weeks across the board, but things are about to change here (in my opinion).
Looks like 3.75 was the low and I started buying in again today.
I expect Monday to confirm, let's see.

i have taken this drop as an opportunity to add to my stake. like you the share price is perplexing but if the company keeps growing the profit and can control costs/capital spend this will be re-rated at some point.

Decent presentation thsi morning on Investor Meet.
It has been a difficult 12 months with alot of turmoil and there is still much to do. The loan needs repaying, they are capital light and need more funding to finance the growth opportunities, improving cash flow is a focus.Growing pains I suppose. AIM is totally hostile environment for growth companies like EAAS, so that doesn't help. They have the customers ,a strong sales pipeline, the suite of products , in short they have a lot of opportunity in front of them and can continue to do well IMHO.
I'm staying put and will buy more on any weakness. Let's see where we are in 12 months time.

Driving Net Zero through innovation and technology (initiation of coverage)

Link to research report & audio summary:

eEnergy is a leading B2B energy services business in the UK, supporting c.2,000 clients with their energy strategies across public and private sectors. We believe the energy crisis has combined with the Net Zero agenda to create a tipping point for action on energy security, costs, consumption and waste. After three years of significant growth and investment since listing on AIM, eEnergy looks ideally placed to play a leading role in the Net Zero transition. This is underpinned by a compelling proposition, which delivers energy efficiency upgrades that are paid for by the savings generated.

Today’s interims to 30th June (12-month period) confirm the continuing strength of demand, which we expect to drive sustained EBITDA growth and an improvement in free cashflow (estimated 10% free cash flow yield from 2025). In our view, medium term growth prospects are highly attractive and are not reflected in a very modest £20m market cap.

A modest P/E ratio (7.7x falling to 6.3x in FY24/FY25) appears to overlook the growth trajectory, with EBITDA expected to increase by 41% in 2023 and 30% in FY24 without factoring in the potential for M&A. A 7.5x EV/EBITDA rating would suggest Fair Value of 13p per share.

I'm not sure the share price will get past 10p on good results( I hope I'm wrong though!) as there will be people who brought in at the 3p lows last year selling into the rise. Once all the short term sellers are out things should start to improve?

Do people think if we get a good results and share price rises to the level of 12 -15p this will then drop away as it seems to historically do?The price seems to improve but then fall away so im thinking of selling if we getna high with a view to dropping back in at a lower priceIve been in this share for 3yrs now but never done it ....views ?

No harm in putting out the positive news providing the overall picture is solid and by so doing the bod are signaling that things are running well and that they will not disappoint.
I have no idea of course, but i would think that if things are running well it ought to trade in a 10-15p price range.

Interesting RNS, not sure why they put it out. Do they have to because it is a material amount or are they just drawing attention to their offering and how it can work with a client? Don't know . Either way, it is a positive.

Not much though I read the broker note dated 14.09. and it reads ok . They have downgraded the price target because of lower margins on some sales but remain bullish and conclude as follows;

Valuation: new price target 12p, reiterate BUY We base our price target on 7.5x December 2024E EV/EBITDA.
At the current share price we estimate eEnergy is trading at 5.4x/4.1x EV/EBITDA for 2023E/24E, which in our view is a remarkably low multiple for a company with a track record of consistent double-digit organic growth, and which looks set to shift to free cash flow positive from the current period. We remain BUYers.
