The license came when the price was on the floor. Ive seen some others go up before they have a license granted rns. It will be odd if this don't go on a run. Looks like thursday was a shake to me. Fingers crossed for next week.

"It is expected that the Mining Licence will be formally released to Edenville during the week commencing 28 February 2016, after minor administrative tasks are completed. A further update will be provided at the appropriate time."

I'll have a look.
I like the way the price pulled back from the spike and finished higher than the close of the day of the news. Thats a good sign. 👍
Its also close to that gap of the 2 DEC.

The sales prices are those at 2013 so are out of date so likely to be a lot less now that oil has fallen so far

Tucked into its recent earnings release, Alpha Natural Resources said that even in its Western coal mining operations, costs had climbed to $11.01 a ton in the second quarter. Two years ago, costs in that region (acquired from Foundation Coal) were $9.99 a ton, according to company earnings release data.

Still doing more research to find out if these cost are for surface or under ground coal.

Transportation costs must be quite expensive so i would think that a power station would be built in close proximity to the coal field but then you have to factor the cost of installing an electricity distribution system to hook up the electricity to the National grid

The price graph on LSE shows the spike up to 0.22p at the time I received the price alert from TD Direct
