09/2/2016 13:30 | Been here since September 2010. Made good money on the run up to 2.5p but sadly ploughed it all back in on the way down. Silly me. | dbno
08/2/2016 09:34 | Absolutely sweet FA about the mining licence, wtf. 7mths ago they applied for it, can only assume that by their lack of any information about it, it has been turned down. And another bod to drain the ever decreasing funds. Must be another placing coming soon enough to pay the wages. | jacksonpollack
08/2/2016 08:10 | Seen it so many times... Flurry of trading activity last week, innocuous unnecessary RNS on Monday with nothing in it that needed to be disclosed ... and then.... Wait for the placing RNS later this week, maybe even tomorrow. Sorry BOD, no gullible investors left for you to drag in. | royalgv
08/2/2016 07:06 | RNS - if, when, but, framework, maybe, expect blah blah blah.,. The only certainty in the RNS is another nose in the trough!!! | royalgv
04/2/2016 13:20 | Yer right, lol. AIM is a law unto itself. Companies and bods do what they want when they want. It's like the Wild West of the share investment world. Everyone who bothers with aim myself included does so as a punt as the real world of share dealing on proper investment indexes is where some form of normality exists. | jacksonpollack
04/2/2016 13:05 | J P, If what you are concerned about above in post 7018 is true, then there would seem to be a case for gross mismanagement by directors, or directors failing in their fiduciary duty. Why not pursue it? dbno | dbno
04/2/2016 12:47 | Not sure what these clowns are playing at. They have applied for a new licence in the same area as the one outlined below. Why not just keep the one below active. FFS this is looking more and more suspicious as the days, weeks, months and years go by. They get licences do nothing with them, hand them back and get hit with millions in penalty fines, or impairments charges as they like to call them. Starting to understand why bods don't buy shares here. 04/2/2016 11:46 | A lot of buys something is brewing?? | derano1
03/2/2016 09:34 | While I hope I'm wrong, but I can see another couple of placing and possibly this going to zero before these clowns get the neccessary licenses. | stevie050
03/2/2016 07:40 | Brown paper envelope should quickly do the trick! , | escapetohome
03/2/2016 06:39 | It's a bit worrying when you check the dates for most of edl's expired licences. From application to granting it took well over a year and in some cases over two years. And there are other companies in and around the same are that have put in applications back in 2013 and they still haven't been granted yet. | jacksonpollack
02/2/2016 12:05 | I'm afraid you're right...... placing Mid April 0.015p is my guess. | stevie050
02/2/2016 09:24 | Now that's the way to do a placing, 81% premium on last closing price. No wonder ZOX are up over 70%. EDL should take a leaf out of their book on placings. Sadly next placing due here probably in April has more chance of having an 81% discount to last closing price applied. | jacksonpollack
01/2/2016 16:15 | You want concrete?, go to Hanson uk. | dbno
01/2/2016 07:42 | Another month and nothing concrete... | royalgv
31/1/2016 17:15 | Strange how the full mining licence they applied for 7 mths ago isn't just for coal like the new application for PL applied for in late January. Makes me think the FML might not be for coal but diamonds and the new PL has been done for the power station coal. The size difference in area between the two applications is enormous. The FML is just over 8 square km and the PL is 30 square km, nearly 4 times the size. Maybe they have located diamonds and coal in the FML site and needed to get it registered quickly. And have applied for the PL as the main bulk of the coal lays outside the FML site. Coal and diamonds would certainly rerate the share price and put this company on the world stage. 29/1/2016 13:46 | They need to stop prospecting after nearly 6 years and start producing some cash revenue for the first ever time. Sausage stop ramping. If they had anything more than coal they would have hat to let investors know. | jacksonpollack
29/1/2016 13:09 | As Jogonson states over on iii, it is interesting to read that all the previous licence as listed on the MEM cadastre system are for 'energy minerals' such as coal, but the recent licence applied for is for 'metallic mineral'. From the MEM website The Mineral Sector Overview Tanzania is endowed with mineral deposits of high economic potential (see Tanzania Geological Map). The minerals found in Tanzania include metallic minerals such as gold, iron, silver, copper, platinum, nickel and tin; gemstones such as diamonds, tanzanite, ruby, garnet, emerald, alexandrite and sapphire; industrial minerals such as kaolin, phosphate, lime, gypsum, diatomite, bentonite, vermiculite, salt and beach sand; building materials such as stone aggregates and sand; and energy minerals such as coal and uranium. (hxxps://mem.go.tz/m See the last word, URANIUM. As Jogonson asks "Why on earth would they apply for this when they have specifically spoken about moving from a prospecting company to a power generation company." Unless of course in the recent exploration programme they found uranium, or another metallic mineral which it deems ££ enough to do further prospecting on the land next to the land we 'own' | sausageonastick |
