My understanding was that deal was targeting a share of the $550 million global market for that particular issue.

Sean refers to a $1.8 billion market for nematicides so I am asking the question, have Eden and Eastman found an extended use for Cedroz in the nematicides market?

I don't know the answer. Supersonico?

Investingisa,

The RNS refers to the "HIGH VALUE fruit and vegetables segment. This segment of the nematicide market is in the region of $550m globally."

A bit of googling tells me that the general global market is $1.1 billion and rising 2.7% per annum.

Redhill,

Would you trust either character which I believe are one and the same, to give you an Honest answer?

Like your cash flow point and the Chapel Down embarrassment .. inconvenient positive points which don't suit the Vendetta agenda are discarded.

I mean can you imagine the integrity of someone who described Eden Tech as Fraudulent Technology then being told by his Mate that he's utterly misguided , who carries on as if he's some sort of authority on the subject without even mentioning this revelation to paying punters .

Everything Fraudyboy says about EDEN is characterised by the Chapel Down incident..

In the Proactive video at around 6 minutes, did anyone pick up when Sean was talking about Cedroz, Eastman and the Nematicide market, he talked about an annual market of $1.8 billion. The inference being that that is the size of the prize. Yet, in the Eastman RNS of December 2016, the market size for Cedroz was quoted as $550 million per annum

Is this a simple oversight or is there something else in the offing?

For those interested in Jaknife's repeated claims that he is not Fraudyboy I ask you to consider the following;

Back in the day Fraudy in his mancasts labelled Eden tech as 'fraudulent Technology'.
Fraudy and JaknIFE historically and currently are mirror images of each other, who's comments are virtually identical on all Fraudy Targets.

Fraudy, after being informed by Chapel Down peeps that Mevalone was 'exellent' quietly dropped the 'fraudulent Technology' label. What won't surprise regular readers is that he made no apology or announcement of his sudden enlightenment.

Don't let actual facts get in the way of a vendetta..hey

At the same time JakNife who also wanted to drive Eden into the dust started saying that 'Eden should go private'. so all of a sudden a change of heart..funny that.

Obviously as JakNife says he is nothing to do with Fraudy, my pointing out the conversation Chapel Down had would have got JakNife scratching his head as why would he know about Chapel Down ..instead I received an uncharacteristic diatribe of Juvenile name calling, more akin to the Fraudy 'tantrum' character rather than the JakNife 'Regards' Character.

The reason JakNife got so irritated was because he knew exactly what the Chapel Down reference was.

It was a reference to his mates pointing out to him that he was completely wrong and he did not want anyone being reminded of his humiliating climb down.

Fraudy can never be wrong..LOL

So Fraudyboy aka JakNife..when I say 'it's like shooting fish in a leaky intellectually challenged Barrel'...it really is.

super,

You must be the world authority on this share (!) by the amount of time you spend here. I know Mike Walters defers to your judgment somewhat, and he's a long term fan here. What is the catalyst going to be here, and why is the share price now approaching five year lows? What is the market does not like? And what likelihood that if value never gets to be realised by the bod, that we could be on the receiving end of a bid from, say, Sipcam? (I say we, but currently not a holder, though very interested in becoming one again.)

Fraudyboy still choosing not to go out of his Wray to tell us why he changed his attitude on Mevalone after a fellow from Chapel Down put him straight.

That does explain your desperate posts. The Supersonico takedown of Fraudyboy is akin to shooting fish in intellectually leaky barrel..

Jak, you could of course be right, but then that's where you would have lost interest by now and no longer be reading/contributing on this bb. The story, while ennervatingly long in developing, seems excellent to me. But I can't see any clarity on the earnings. You would expect, for this business to be successful, and inflexion point some time in the near future where profits start to grow exponentially. They still have 1.5m cash burn, on just over 3m in the bank, according to interview I've just seen. So while no immediate threat to liquidity, I would love to see some projections.

AttyG,

perhaps the Universities Superannuation Scheme needs some cash to pay retiring vice chancellors their ridiculously high pensions (their pension scheme is supposed to be in a spot of bother)! They crossed below 3% about five years ago, so we won't be told if they have sold any more.

There must be an optimal time for investing in EDEN and we must be near to it. I have, for my sins, a position in RED, and see similar factors at play, with the renewable storage market about to explode. Likewise at SYM, though this share has started to respond powerfully to the plastics story.

I can't see what's not to like about EDEN, though the share price seems to be telling another story. If ever there was a sector deserving to set on fire by the worldwide environmental alarm bells, this would be it. I simply don't understand, when it has cash, partners, IP, and growing international revenues. Will a bell sound when the absolute moment has come?

I doubt it. Currently I have no position here, but I thin as/if/where the share price sinks to the 5 year low at 7p, this could be somebody's pension.

Initially down a little due to general market mark down on possible trade wars, but perhaps down further due to someone wanting to bail out?

There will always be a reason to sell - demands for cash, stale bulls too impatient and finding a "better" opportunity elsewhere. However, even for those who have been beaten down by the delays of product launches / approvals etc it is difficult not to view this share as anything other than a buy.

The language in the prelims is quite tempered, but nevertheless, the opportunity is clear.

I am amazed the BoD have not made more of the additional £0.5m licence / milestone fees. NDAs may restrict sensitive commercial details, but surely we could be told more than what is contained in the prelims?
These are an obvious precursor to future sustainable repeatable revenues. Furthermore, it is clear that theses future revenue streams will not only come from 3AEY.

Strikes me the pendulum has swung too far, time to swing too far the other way.

It is also worth noting the company beat the trading statement estimate in January by £100k - times have changed - the BoD are under-promising and over-delivering.

Well done and congratulations due to the BoD.

If that's what you think, you shouldn't have bought so many shares when the share price was much higher than it currently is.

Yes,

I've just watched it again. He said that Eden should have approval for use of 3OLGY for next year's US growing season. That makes it available to an additional 9% of world wine production volume (bringing the total to about 62%).
