Investing,

Yes based on what I have read I'm optimistic that our new Chairman along with the current slowly expanding Team (Peter Watson/ Lames Clovis / James Kennedy / Michel Villeneuve) as well as the influence of Sipcam, LivingBridge and Powerscourt will be positive. I am glass half full on Eden as you know.

Looking back at the 2017 presentation I would be keen to know what progress Eden are making with regard to the following statement;

'There is excellent potential for the application of Eden’sSustaine™ encapsulation technology and natural chemistry beyond its current market'.

This suggests to me new partner in new market, one not yet discussed. I would like to hear more from Eden of what this 'excellent potential' may be. If I was making that statement I would want to have something achievable and tangible in mind and probably 90% in the bag.

Investing,

I'm looking forward to seeing how our new very experienced Chairman influences the topics you raise regarding investor updating.

JakNife,

Your posts on here, with all due respect, fall on deaf ears (mine at least)

Supersonico,

You have to admit it is unacceptable for the Company to update us on industry partners) success on just the period of the interims and the annual results. That will not be enough to mobilise and support the share price and Eden's share price does need to get moving. Six occasions over the next 3 years of 'price stimulation' IS NOT what anyone is here for. The big 'ol Eastman announcement did nothing for the share price, likely because income was, at the time of the announcement, 3 years away.

The Company is so quiet on the share price that either they are neglecting it or maybe, just maybe, they too are very concerned by it and daren't engage with shareholders on the subject through fear or acknowledgement. Question is, will they continue to be impotent on this matter (as they have been for so long and therefore this is the trend)or are they doing/will they do something about it?

Supersonico,

I agree with partners industry side, but Eden has to do shareholder side. We can't just sit here waiting for the annual report each year and nothing else

Investing,

I think our partners will have generous advertising budgets and do a thorough job of promoting the various products Eden Tech will be in. They are partnering with Heavy weights who have chosen and tested Eden above others. They will promote the Tech in relation to their product and the ecological natural branding profile will I believe be a key part of that marketing strategy.. (GO-E Sustaine Inside etc)

Sipcam and Sumiagro are examples of this and they are small in relation to Bayer and Eastman so I expect considerably more publicity from them in associating and promoting their products naturally derived, environmentally friendly credentials.

Eden may also be subject to Non Disclosure Agreements which we are unaware of.

Eden can obviously improve on it's PR but the heavy lifting needs to be done by our Partners, they will have greater reach and be far more effective , relevant and focused than Eden promoting itself independently. IMO.

Supersonico,

Announced on twitter where they only have 277 followers. Hardly going to spread the word is it!!!

Eden's communications channels, execution and reach is very, very, poor for an aspiring (Presumably) company

AttyG,

You shouldn't have to find it. Assuming you are registered for updates, Eden should have emailed that page update to you. Investor relations!!!

Morning Supersonico,

Where did you find the fact sheet referred to in your 3407 post - I can't locate it on the Eden web pages.

It is there in all but name on "Our Products" but I can't locate it under "Media".

Cheers

Regarding Eden's new factsheet if it is new, then why are Eden now advising those registered for news on their website that this page has been updated rather than an active shareholder drawing it to our attention. Sloppy from Eden! No point signing up if you don't advise on all things new including non RNS items.

It is interesting as AttyG has said that Bayer is given prominence 'and is preparing to launch'. In other words it is all but done, just not yet RNS'd.
Under 'Our Technology' .....'biocidal efficacy' Please explain this, qualify it for new investors coming to the site who don't know what it means. Using jargon can make things seem complicated and deter investors who feel they do not understand it.

Sipcam 'specilaizes'. Can we drop the American Z and replace with an English or European S please. We are a British company.

Obviously, the fact sheet invites questions from investors who wish to understand or qualify certain statements.

New Global Study: Wildlife-harming Neonicotinoid Pesticides Generally Fail to Increase Crop Yields
Sustainable Pest-control Strategies Are Cheaper, More Effective
PORTLAND, Ore.— The widespread use of wildlife-harming neonicotinoid pesticides is failing to deliver promised benefits to agricultural production, according to a study published today in the academic journal Environmental Science and Pollution Research.
The global assessment of 200 scientific studies by the International Task Force on Systemic Pesticides found that use of neonicotinoids over the past two decades has inflicted serious damage to birds, pollinators and other insects without generally increasing yields.
“This study should be the final nail in the coffin for these dangerous pesticides here in the U.S.,” said Lori Ann Burd, director of the Center for Biological Diversity’s environmental health program. “It’s mindboggling that while much of Europe and Canada are limiting the use of these poisons, the U.S. EPA is considering expanding their use across millions of acres.”
The study shows neonicotinoids can be phased out to protect pollinators and aquatic invertebrates without harming agricultural productivity; research also shows that farmers benefit from integrated pest management practices such as crop rotation and biological controls.
Moving forward, the study’s authors conclude that the documented harms of neonicotinoids must be weighed against evidence that use of the dangerous pesticides does not generally result in higher yields or profits.
The International Task Force on Systemic Pesticides is made up of the world’s leading experts on neonicotinoids and other systemic pesticides. Today’s study is the response of the scientific community to escalating worldwide concerns about the harm of these pesticides on biodiversity and ecosystems.
“Here in the U.S., it’s time the EPA started listening to the world’s leading scientists instead of pandering to companies hoping to squeeze more profits out of selling these dangerous pesticides,” said Burd. “This eye-opening study confirms that the EPA must move quickly to eliminate the unacceptable risk posed by neonics. The sooner the better.”

An update of the Worldwide Integrated Assessment (WIA) on systemic insecticides. Part 3: alternatives to systemic insecticides

Abstract
Over-reliance on pesticides for pest control is inflicting serious damage to the environmental services that underpin agricultural productivity. The widespread use of systemic insecticides, neonicotinoids, and the phenylpyrazole fipronil in particular is assessed here in terms of their actual use in pest management, effects on crop yields, and the development of pest resistance to these compounds in many crops after two decades of usage. Resistance can only be overcome in the longterm by implementing methods that are not exclusively based on synthetic pesticides. A diverse range of pest management tactics is already available, all of which can achieve efficient pest control below the economic injury level while maintaining the productivity of the crops. A novel insurance method against crop failure is shown here as an example of alternative methods that can protect farmer’s crops and their livelihoods without having to use insecticides. Finally, some concluding remarks about the need for a new framework for a truly sustainable agriculture that relies mainly on natural ecosystem services instead of chemicals are included; this reinforcing the previous WIA conclusions (van der Sluijs et al. Environ Sci Pollut Res 22:148-154, 2015).

Maybe so Northwick, but have we seen Bayer on top of our list of partners before - ahead of Sipcam.
That surely is encouraging.

Still the blinking strawberries as a backdrop!

Thank you for link.Nothing new in the pdf file. Keen followers are already up to speed. All of us are waiting for more meaty news . And must add - the share price will suffer next month if they continue to release uninspiring statements that both bland & passive. It's a pity that Eden cannot be bothered to date stamp their literature. Difficult to say when it was released or updated..
