25/8/2018 16:57 | Super, Sipcam joint ventures in China for formulations!! hxxp://oxon.it/compa Sipcam, a top 15 global agro-chemical player hxxp://e.agropages.c Super Presumably Sipcam Nichino Brazil?! | investingisatrickygame
25/8/2018 09:16 | And if so, we're talking a very short window with all that news due now | investingisatrickygame
25/8/2018 08:59 | Investing, Indeed that would be a distinct possibility considering the agro chemical arms race that's raging in this sector. | supersonico
25/8/2018 08:46 | Super, Good post. I believe if an analyst wrote a report including three year forecast income and P and L for Mevalone, Cedroz TT and those 4 Bayer products, we could/would see a price target in the region of £2(+).Allow for a PE ratio of 20 and profit of £20 million then that is easy to calculate. If something bigger is going on as you suggest, then the price potential in short order is huge. Rather than that massive share price increase, I think it more likely we would get taken out. | investingisatrickygame
24/8/2018 13:13 | When Sipcam via Eden RNS, announces successful co-encapsulation, I assume they will further state what they have learned and their strategic approach thereafter, whether that is Eden and ANO, Eden and Sipcam in agreed territories and markets, Eden setting up NewCo or any other possibilities. However, you look at it, that success will invite other large agro-chems to take a much closer look at Eden and Sustaine and that may just see someone pulling the trigger. I'd anticipate all of the above 'in short order'. Whether the trigger gets pulled in similar short order, who knows. | investingisatrickygame
24/8/2018 13:03 | Investing, I agree but they've obviously decided not to atm.. We have to see that as a strategic decision and ask.. WHY?? | supersonico
24/8/2018 12:55 | Super, It all comes back to educating the market, doesn't it! Give them something to understand to get excited about and with reason and then your share price will go north. Commercial contracts and deals can come through RNS, but education, understanding, potential and insight can all be delivered separately and outside regulatory channels. | investingisatrickygame
24/8/2018 11:50 | Palm Oil.. This is where we glimpsed the Palm oil Edenberg. And then the characteristic silence. 'Eden Research believes its technology can be used beyond wine production' 'But Smith believes there are hundreds of products that can benefit through being made more efficient, effective and robust using its technology'. Of those 'Hundreds of products', how many would global giants like Bayer and Sumitomo say no thanks to??? Most if we are to try and find evidence of them in Eden RNS's following the first opaque mention. Pictures tell us a story Mevalone / Sumitomo / Bayer Analysts tell us.....Oh ooops my mistake ...there's no analyst report on those 'hundreds of products' or anything current that the company is doing come to think of it...How very strange. They must have overlooked it. | supersonico
24/8/2018 09:04 | The BRC is the latest addition to the Sumitomo Chemical Company (SCC) Biorational Research Network (BRN), a strategic enterprise that includes both internal resources and external (3rdparty) expertise. As the parent company to VBC, SCC deploys a global team of scientists operating in lab and field research facilities at key locations around the globe. Central to the BRN mission are investigations that brings together biorational and conventional technologies that work in harmony with nature. | supersonico
24/8/2018 08:36 | Tobacco industry playbook. 2nd Big mistake from Bayer imo. | supersonico
24/8/2018 08:27 | Strong stance being taken by Bayer. | investingisatrickygame
24/8/2018 07:44 | Sumitomo..Palm oil???? April 25, 2018 'The Sumitomo Chemical Group is actively deploying a wide range of agriculture-related businesses, including fertilizers, pesticides, and many other products for agriculture. In recent years, the Group's efforts have focused on strengthening its product and service line-up capable of offering solutions for plantations growers of such crops as bananas and palm oil. The Sumitomo Chemical Group will continue to develop a diverse range of innovative products, thereby contributing to improving the world’s agricultural productivity and increasing food production'. 23/8/2018 10:07 | What is also Evident here is Eden don't do deals with small companies. The technology is ground breaking. That endorses my belief that TT are sub licencing it's 'exclusive rights' / working with Bayer or perhaps Sumitomo/ +keiretsu partners TT releasing a Headlice and Deodorant product on their own does not fit the global Edenberg mode of operation imo. #Sustaine-Global-Lau | supersonico
23/8/2018 08:55 | I imagine Eden will contract with existing endorsed and specified pesticide Toll manufacturers in each region. Did the Unicorn just get bigger? . | supersonico
23/8/2018 08:39 | Sean Smith said at the AGM they do not want to be 'flying water all around the world'. That makes total sense, so setting up multiple manufacturing plants, strategically placed, seems sensible. That will require capital. That said, dependent on the production equipment used, why not just let each product user produce from their own manufacturing plants? Eastman, are we setting up toll manufacturing central to their operations for Cedroz?! No from what I recall. They will be producing, we will have visibility and we will invoice as appropriate. Quicker to market, less cost. Brazil could be one of a few exceptions though given the size of the South American farming market. | investingisatrickygame
23/8/2018 08:28 | Investing If that's the case then we may have a picture developing where Eden makes deals but only declares the tip of the Edenberg. What is happening behind the scenes? Is it the establishment and coordination of Toll suppliers for Global supply perhaps ? to supply Bayer and Sumitomo related companies? Since we changed business models and transitioned from licence-based royalties to supply and/or distribution model agreements a while back, could this explain the parallel delays and the incongrence?. | supersonico
23/8/2018 08:18 | And from your second link regarding Bayer we have, no less, Soybeans, Brazil and formulation combination, without co-encapsulation. Sean Smith did mention at the AGM, Brazil as a target area for a toll manufacturing plant. Two good finds by you Super and totally plausible links for me. Let's go a step further. Successful co-encapsulation by Sipcam would, one presumes, open up all these market opportunities. I doubt Sipcam could afford to buy Eden, but Sumitomo could! "Bayer and Sumitomo Chemical Company, Limited announced today that the companies have reached a new agreement on fungicidal mixture products aimed at controlling soybean diseases in Brazil. These products will utilize Sumitomo Chemical’s novel fungicide in combination with established Bayer fungicides to create a potent new means of combating major plant diseases. Financial terms were not disclosed". | investingisatrickygame
23/8/2018 08:11 | I think Sustaine could be considered in Summitomo collaborations. From your first link, sustainable and Roundup. “This collaboration combines the strength of Monsanto to discover and develop herbicide tolerance traits with Sumitomo Chemical's world-class discovery program for new crop protection products that are highly effective for sustainable weed management.” This announcement builds on the strong collaboration the two companies have had for many years through the Roundup Ready PLUS® Crop Management platform to bring farmers the best-performing herbicide solutions to manage tough and resistant weeds. | investingisatrickygame
23/8/2018 01:24 | In the 2015 Eden RNS 'Agreement with Sipcam covering new products' 'Sean Smith said: "We are pleased with the increase in activities with our partner, Sipcam. This is clear evidence that we are realising the potential to expand the commercialisation of our products and grow the existing relationship with Sumitomo related companies around the world' In the 'Sipcam agreements, investment and proposed placing' of 30th Jun 2017 Sean Smith says; "The significant resource and knowledge that Sipcam has at its disposal, as well as the substantial investment they are making in the commercialisation of Eden's products and technology, will also serve us well in developing and, ultimately, distributing Eden's products and technologies in countries in which Sipcam has a presence and will also allow Eden to leverage those capabilities in countries where they do not." My question here is when Sean Smith says; "ultimately, distributing Eden's products and technologies in countries in which Sipcam has a presence and will also allow Eden to leverage those capabilities in countries where they do not." Is he suggesting that where Sipcam don't have a presence it's 'leverage' with Sumitomo will provide that wider global reach??? thereby facilitating distribution of Sipcam / Sustaine formulations to a global market??..beyond Sipcam's footprint. Further more.. with Sipcam being a 'Sumitomo related company' could Sustaine tech be considered in Sumitomo collaborations like those mentioned below??. or this or and finally the Sipcam agreement 'Agreement with Sipcam covering new products' of, 20th May 2015 featured an Apple scab Treatment that we have not had any news on for three years. Did they change their minds??? | supersonico
22/8/2018 18:07 | Investing, Blips on the Radar--Dropped off the Radar..Questions I have .. What came of Eden's hopes in 2013/14 that Bayer would be interested in more than the 4 Companion Animal Products?? NDA x1 Bayer and Why mention 'Sumitomo related companies' in one RNS if your deal is solely with Sipcam and then not mention it in any follow up Preliminary Results progress type RNS ?? I have repeatedly said I believe we are not being told about wider Bayer applications. The Sumitomo mention adds another global player to that list imo . NDA x2 Sumitomo Incongruence x 2 ...or did Bayer and Sumitomo say 'no thanks'?? Sipcam To take seat on Eden Board / Ex Bayer linkman now Chairman.....just Saying | supersonico
22/8/2018 17:20 | 'with Sumitomo related companies'. Key word in that statement being 'related'. So I would suggest not Sumitomo, but then again, I would be very surprised if Sumitomo are not well aware of Eden. Sipcam, in my opinion, will definitely be feeding back any success on co-encapsulation of Sipcam's commercial ingredients with Eden's active ingredients because the ability to repeat and broaden will undoubtedly be of interest to Sumitomo. Have the Eden execs ever met with Sumitomo? Would Sumitomo ever be interested in bidding for Eden on the back of successful co-encapsulation and then permitting their 'related' companies, Sipcam, Sumi-agro and any others to use and sell Sustaine under licence?. Sipcam appears to be in the driving seat with Sustaine, so would Sumitomo want one of the other big agro-chemical companies nicking it from under their nose? I doubt it and if so, they will have first mover advantage. | investingisatrickygame |
