I remember in 2014 how people reckoned a deal had been done on MGA and it would be announced as soon as MGA was released from administration and everyone had to get "onboard" because the news would be massive ..... MGA came out of administration ....... and nothing ..... until now ... when a pic of SC allegedly appears ... allegedly in Australia .... allegedly now .... and that is enough to create yet another rise into which HNWIs can sell.

If no-one could be found to use MGA's tax losses in 2014, what's made the tax losses usable or more useful to make their sale likely now?

It's a mining business ... but mining the gullible, not ore. So much has been made about YA being out but there is nothing to stop

1. Another deal with YA
2. Another string of "mates rates" placings at prices PIs can't access

ECR has no money to move Danglay forward (one presumes they have no plans to do anything with Danglay anyway ... otherwise they would get an exploration permit) ... the current excitement is around MGA .... if the tax losses were useful, a deal could have been done months ago. SLM, I wrote that off years ago. Esperanza haven't taken up the MOU so it isn't even profitable for anyone for them to process the gold found at SLM ... yes, there's gold ... but apparently the deposits cannot be extracted profitably.

i reckon there are still huge amounts of share the HNWI want to flush out ...

The disappointment. It was foretold. Smell it. The rank stench festers, clinging still fast to everything that ECR and its management is.

The skunk-like truth glands of the market have released their putrid spray all over this company, and the nostrils burn as we turn away in disgust.

to me, it's becoming increasingly clear this is nothing to do with extracting gold from anywhere. I understand why TGR are happy with the situation .... ECR cover a load of costs for working on their play whilst gold is relatively in the doldrums. TGR can, I suppose sit on their play until and if gold makes Danglay viable. At the moment, it seems none of ECR's plays are viable ... otherwise there would be mining license applications and placings to fund actually extracting ore. If SLM was worth anything, they'd have sold it or found a JV partner ... we're going over old ground ... it has all been said .... it's fun watching ECR and the mechanics of P&Ds though it's a shame so many get fleeced.

The reserves at SLM must be poor. Other people have been producing gold in Argentina regardless of the government in power

So, I discount SLM ever generating any income, let alone profit. I just don't think it's viable ... and if it depends on using someone else's processing facilities, it's only marginally viable. If there was money to be made the SLM MOU would have been signed.

MGA, if the tax losses could be utilised, a deal would have been done.

I reckoned a while ago ECR shares might be worth 0.0017 .... after dilution, i reckon it's about 0.000611 ... it's a pointless exercise since with no exploration or mining licences at Danglay, no gold is likely to be produced. But, if that did happen, at current gold rates, with estimates of extraction costs, local taxes and the fact ECR only get a cut of Danglay .... forget it .... it's hard to undervalue a business like this

" no exploration license for Danglay / Itogon, no mining license for Danglay / Itogon, no money, diluted to death, SLM MOU being ignored by Esperanza, no independent verification MGA's tax losses are usable ... unless of course ECR suddenly becomes profitable .... but you need to generate an income stream to be profitable ... the glaring "elephant in the room" .... that Danglay ... or Itogon as some still call it, isn't even an ECR project. It's a TGR project and if there's so much gold there, why are TGR in no rush to get the gold out of the ground ... there may be gold specks in some rock at Itogon ... but what are the chances of it ever coming out of the rock? How long have TGR had the Itogon play? Gold doesn't make shareholders money as long as it's in the ground unless the play gets sold after having the resource proved. SLM was for sale or ECR looking for a JV for years. No takers. Now that, for a few years at least, Argentina has a miner friendly government, you'd have thought that anyone with gold worth exploiting would be getting their skates on before the government changes again"

Trying to keep this focussed on what I see are the practical issues so I'll keep repeating this until it gets useful answers"
